a very fun night indeed!! so great seeing all the TA's there. piet got there around 11 or so and hung on the patio with everyone being his ever so "charming" self 
then it was off to dance to his set! of course it was great, he didn't hold back as much as i thought he would which was nice. i was way too faded and acted like a complete idiot but what's new???? sorry piet for giving you so much shit but i had to make up for the fact that i'm gonna miss your TJ set.
great track selection as always and the crowd really responded to it!!! everyone was talking about how great it was. nice to have most of the TA's partying up top with piet. it is really great that he enjoys his fan base here and interacts with everyone. very nice to see.
vanguard was uber hot!! and packed. didn't stay for CL's set b/c i wanted to catch sander at avalon so we bolted right afterwards but i'm sure it was great.

wish i was there for 1:30 to 4:00 CL set!... seems like rank 1 set was the shiznitzzle... how was CL LA set? anyone that stayed longer for that???

well mecca i would say he played a pretty solid set bc i saw him on thursday and he was good on thurs but had a couple of trainwrecks. Saturday was a nice sold banging set but i left around 3:30 due to being tired and having stuff to do..how come you didnt go?

Sat night was definitely fun. It was great to party with all the TAs and Piet & Tim! Sorry if I seemed a bit absent minded, my mind was preoccupied with several things at the club. A couple of beers took care of that though 
Blake Jarrell's set impressed me. Some of the stuff he played reminded me of my fav SvD And he played Wamdue Project - King of My Castle (SvD remix) which I luuuuuv! This young dj has a lot of potential IMO. Now I understand why Armada signed him Piet's set was awesome as always. I'm glad he didn't hold back at all! But of course he had to play Walk Down at the end just to irritate me 
I can't stand that song!
Sorry Mecca but I can't tell you either how CL's set was because we left after a few songs. What I could hear though, it sounded too boring for me, like the song never changed or something.

OMG! Just come up for air. All I can say is that Christopher Lawrence absolutely purely ROCKED IT on Saturday. My only criticism is that he was so relentless that I danced until my feet hurt and I was so exhausted on Sunday that I missed our annual work BBQ. The club was packed and hot, but it added to the energy. There is nothing better than being on a dancefloor where everyone is going off and on the same groove. One of those rare magic moments.

Michelle, it was great to finally meet you!! Hopefully you still remember me. I was there w/ my buddy Brandon and his drunk friend Nicky who had her boobs popping out of her shirt half the time. Oh man, that's the last time i bring her in my car. I still need to clean off my back seat from the drink she spilled.
Sarah, (gypsygirl) it was great to meet you too! Thanks again for taking those pics of Piet for me on the stage. They came out great!
We got there about 10:45 while Blake Jarrell was spinning. Grabbed a drink and headed to the front to check him out. He was playing some great tracks, but I was just getting antsy for Rank 1 to come on.
Then Piet comes on and he tore it up.. He played hit after hit, and hearing it on Vanguard's insane sound system made it even better. I'm hoping someone posts a tracklist of his set on here because he played a few tracks I want, but dont know the names.
Unfortunately, that's where my fun ended. Midway through Piet's set, we go to the bar to get drinks for me and my buddy and a water for his drunk friend. Well anyways, we're at the bar and she puts her head down on the counter. Everybody knows that's a big no-no to do and we quickly get her back up but the bartender already saw her. Bartender flags down security and the girl gets thrown out. So then my buddy went after her to try to get her back in, so I'm in the club by myself now - with a drink in hand. I told em to sort it out while i go back up front to check out Piet. Well about 1:15 rolls around and my buddy texts me saying security wont let them in and are making them leave the area. So i told em to go wait by my car and I'l come out after CL comes on.
Christopher Lawrence comes on and played a few hard tracks I've never heard of, but unfortunately I didnt wanna leave my buddies stranded outside so I left 20 mins into his set. That was a huge buzkill. I was looking forward to seeing him all last week and I only got to see 20 mins worth because of her. Well, hopefully this doesnt happen to us at Armin in a few weeks.
So... does anyone have a tracklisting for Rank 1's set??
