back to the subject now,so what exactly happend to this disclosure project?
werent they suppose to go to the congress at some point and ask the senate to disclose all informations regarding governments involvement with the extraterrestrials?
I have heard alot of reasons why they didnt ended up going but the most interesting reason I heard was that they were planning to go to the congress on Sep 2001,but since the events of 911 took place everything changed.Does anyone know about this?or is it bullshit?

A log of unidentified flying objects has been kept by the MoD for decades, with some cases investigated for national security reasons. Previously, it took 30 years for classified records of UFO sightings to be released, leaving enthusiasts with a cold trail to follow up. But details of every sighting since 1998 were released just a few months after this year's 60th anniversary of the alleged alien crash-landing in Roswell, New Mexico. Robert Rosamond, chairman of the British UFO Research Association, said: "These files give an exciting insight into unexplained phenomena � most interesting is anything that is structured or has an unusual shape. "Around 98 per cent of cases can be explained. The remaining two per cent keep us fascinated." Last year a former MoD chief warned Britain could be attacked by aliens at any time. Nick Pope had just stepped down as head of the government department's UFO project and complained it had been 'virtually closed'. 'Highly credible' sightings were often dismissed, he added, and Britain was 'wide open to attack'. However astronomer Sir Patrick Moore, veteran presenter of The Sky At Night, dismisses the chances of aliens visiting Earth. "There is no intelligent life in our solar system, except possibly on Earth � and I am not so sure about that � so the chances of anyone seeing an alien craft are extremely light," he said. even though most UFO sightings have other explanations, I wouldn't dismiss the possibility that a developed life form visits our planet. I believe that our existence is not an accident. This universe must be teeming with life. It is quite possible that life developed on other planets several hundred thousand years before it developed on earth. These creatures may have developed advanced technology that permits them to travel to other galactic systems.

Hey occrider, have you ever seen this guy in your area? He represented a few of the Area 51 workers in court a few years ago. I doubt that he knows anything about what's going on but it would be cool to at least ask.

I'm quite big on the idea that any argument (whether it pertains to UFOs, or religion, or politics, or anything else) should live and die by its own rules. If scant evidence is enough reason to suggest that something is true, then we needn't go to much effort to produce a better argument to suggest that it isn't true.

Alien species are not visiting this planet, full-fucking-stop. Until a better contrary case is put forward by the credulous than the fact that strange lights are occasionally seen in the sky, then I can't see how the debate isn't aborted before it begins.

What do you think is happening there ? Do you believe they have captured aliens/alien spaceships ? Or that DARPA is developing secret technology far beyond current industrial capabilities ? Come to think of it, the Blackbird SR-71 was far too developed for its time. Do you think Lockheed Martin Skunk Works had some sort of access to secret alien spaceship designs ? How could they conceive such futuristic engineering designs?

Did anyone watch the special they had on CNN tonite on the whole UFO subject? from what I heard it was a great show with lots of ex millitary personals and such.

would love to see the vid if anyone can find it.
