Besides archiving and listening to new shit all day, shooting models for the website I work for, and video editing.. youd be suprised Rizo.

Getting models ready for a website shoot is fun, but hard work. Expecially when I'm lugging around that stupid HDTV Sony Camera... a video camera at some shoot in Santa Cruz or at a beach most of the time. Not to mention getting them all buttered up so their bodies are all shiney and shit.

If Im not here, im at my shop in Richmond working on cars with my boy. You forget I also co own a car shop also.

Wanna trade places? Id love to live plush like that for a minute so I can have some time to rest. I had a normal day job up until April while balancing the above also...

Did you guys here what he did a year or two ago in NY when Dennis Rodman went on stage and showed his ass to everyone? He streight stopped the music and walked off!

I don't blame him!

Can't wait for August 11 in LA!

First time seeing Tiesto... must say, his set was pretty good. His choice of tracks from 1-3 am were superb, didn't really like his start.

Songs of the Night:
Gouryella - Gouryella and then he goes right into
Pulser - Cloudwalking!!!
also
Delirium - Silence
Tiesto - Victorious

F-in Amazing songs!!

One thing that sorta dissappointed me was the light set up. I was hoping for a circular light structure (ala Popsicle 2006), but I'm not complaining too much, the bright ass strobes were good enough to keep me happy. And I did like the double V shape they used. But I think it could have been better.

tiesto - traffic
albert vorne - formentera what

I think he played Tiesto - Elements of Life

My friend swears he heard Lethal Industry, but I don't remember him playing it. I really don't think he did though. Can anyone confirm if he played it?

I was waiting for him to drop his trance remix of In the Dark... I really thought he would have too...

And yes, I don't understand why he went with He's a Pirate instead of Adagio...
eh, I still liked it though, I mean, who else would close with He's a Pirate (I think I heard one other DJ play it before during his set, but who and where???)

I remember Ferry closed LoveParade AfterParty 05 with Adagio.... so I'm happy I've been able to hear it as a closer atleast once....

Thank you for this upload! You are the best!! I was too busy absorbing Gouryella and Cloudwalking to record it..... DAM, I was so glad to hear those tunes...

i was a bit "worried" at the beginning of tiesto's set, thinking that it was either very slow or me being too sober. then sometime after an hour, it finally took off. mixing was spot on, track lengths good, etc.

spent too much time waiting in line for drinks as usual, so just did double shots on the next couple visits. stopped by the other rooms and would have stayed a bit longer in each but they were just too empty. made sure to check in on derrick carter.

strobes were very cool, but almost excessive and consequently under-appreciated. i would have wished for just two or three of those rare epic light explosion moments, something that adagio could have probably gotten. closest to tiesto-scale-epic-grandness was gouryella, which i watched from the balcony, and looking back at the video that was posted, it was indeed awesome. since the lighting was so directional from the stage, the sea of people down below looked amazing. finished up a few people over from where the headphones landed. overall good stuff and would have been thrilled with the night but there have just been too many other awesome shows this summer to compare this to.

after the show, stopped by jack in the box, saw long line at 1015, went to the car to refill for a moment but ended up just burning some time, and went to end up for about the last hour of reggae gold. house music started around 530am so i could finally burn off the dancing that i didn't have room to do at tiesto.

Thanks SO much for this! I was right in front as well when he dropped these tracks. Madness, I say, madness!

People said he played "Flight 643". Are you guys sure he played that? I don't remember him dropping that at all. Or maybe I was too drunk?

All I have to say is... what a great show on Saturday night!! Tiesto was amazing. I was so tired/sore and had to go to work the next morning, but it was well worth it! I met a lot of cool people up in the very front and it seemed as if the crowd was definitely into it the whole time he was on.

Posted by sf_addict on Jul-30-2007 21:25:

ah! i remember now! Imogen Heap...still forgot the track name but does anybody know who did the remix?

Posted by skwallie on Jul-30-2007 21:33:

I finally got some rest from Friday to Sunday. What a pretty crazy weekend, 1015, Tiesto, and then Projekt Revolution! Almost didn't make it to PR because of Tiesto.

That wasn't Tiesto's best set I've heard. Personally, I liked his stuff last time he played at Ruby Skye. Didn't really recognize all the tracks he played, but loved it when he dropped Traffic! The progression was a lot like how Ruby Skye would do it before headliners, but I was expecting Dyloot to maybe kick it up a notch before Tiesto went on. I guess this was Tiesto's request, right? Tiesto did bring it, I can never really get into his stuff.

Went to go check out the other rooms and it looked like through out the night they just didn't fill up compared to past events that have been thrown there. Maybe if they got DJ Dan, Bad Boy Bill, and the drum & bass room that night, it would have been a better turn out in those rooms. I still had a great time though. I always like to come out and see what Spundae and Skills has to offer to us.

Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (Tiesto Remix)

Tiesto's site says he played his remix of an Imogen Heap track in New York last week, so I am guessing this is the same remix.

Tiesto played an awesome set but it wasn't the best set I saw out of him. The 1st hour kind of lagged but he made it up during the second hour. The last hour didn't go no where. I didn't how he ended the night. No encore or anything but overall I enjoyed the night.

Yes, Tiesto did played Traffic...but he didn't play Lethal Industry or most of the good stuff he used to play.
