I must say, They just do bothing for me.

SHOKK and Flutlicht are amazing, no doubt. They're my favorite producers/dj's. Giotto kicks ass and all of his remixes are amazing. download his sets on AG cuz you don't know what you're missing if you don't have them.

Latest vinyl i got with shokk/flutlicht:

shokk - isn't it a little strange [flutlicht remix]
marc dawn - expander [flutlicht remix]
dave joy - first impression [shokk remix]
dj energy - exclisic [shokk remix]
dj air - alone with me [flutlicht remix]
cosmic gate - back to earth [shokk remix]

and also found Shokk - Folie a Deux had to buy it.

trying to get Altitude - Altitude [shokk remix] and DJ Spoke - Ignition [shokk remix]

Big shokk/flutlicht fan i guess, right?

Posted by rowzbay on May-09-2002 17:57:

and oh yeah, all of shokk's remixes and tracks have the best build-ups ever. there's no doubt about it. He's laying down what new tech-trance is all about.

Have to say I've been a big fan of Flutlicht/SHOKK for ages now, Reverb is extremely talented when it comes to producing energetic trance.

As for Giotto, he carries that energy from the production side into his DJ sets!

Their remix of Dave Joy - First Impression has been the biggest tune in my box for over 6 months now, their tunes have incredible staying power! Folie a Deux is still getting plays from the major jocks who spin this stuff, that tune is a year and how many months old now? That to me is the sign of a good producer!

I used to not be to big into this harder style but now that Ive actually sat down and taken the time to listen to some SHOKK / Flutlicht productions and remixes I'm really starting to get into it, my fave atm is

Altitude - Altitude (S.H.O.K.K Remix)

i feel "isnt it all a little strange" was a better production, but with that you gotta hear it live and paced up a little to unleash the sheer power that lies within the track!

i agree, isn't it all a litte strange has a much better build up and i like it more in my sets because i feel like i can move in and out of it faster than Dave Joy - First impression.

shokk is amazing

Altitude - Altitude (S.H.O.K.K Remix) was definately their best remix!

Love this just gotta find it on vinyl !!

Posted by Kirk on Feb-04-2003 21:13:

S.H.O.K.K. make amazing tunes but i gotta say as good as there productions are nothing comes close to Flutlicht - The Fall (Deep Fall Mix) - surperb tune!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Dave_Masters on Feb-04-2003 21:38:

Flutlicht - Ahmea is the best flutlicht tune. Mutterkorn is also good.

Posted by decode on Feb-04-2003 22:19:

Saw him at godskitchen on the 17th for the first time. He tore the place apart. Deffo a future god

Posted by decode on Feb-04-2003 22:20:

Btw Flutlicht's remix of Isnt it all a litte strange is wicked.

Not as good as the krazy nut mix tho

Posted by chris_norris on Feb-04-2003 22:28:

Well i feckin luv em. Like DuMonde Trancer, I anticipate every one of their productions and remixes, everything they lay their hands on. My favourite's gotta be The krazy nut remix of Isn't it all a little strange, all of the tune carry's shitloads of power, seriously enegetic. I've also been liking the wicked funky sound they've been experimenting with in the past couple of productions as well. Long may it continue

S.H.O.K.K

I totally agree, S.H.O.K.K is definitley the best hard trance project going around now. my favorite production/remix by shokk is cosmic gate - back 2 earth [S.H.O.K.K Remix]. This ownz and shits on all!!!

Posted by Ste on Feb-04-2003 23:30:

claudio will be happy when he reads this thread

Posted by Prototrance on Feb-05-2003 02:08:

I love S.H.O.K.K. All the energy is in the right places while still being uplifting and melodic. Much better than other hard trance efforts by Dumonde, Signum or Fluctlicht.

Posted by DJDigDug on Feb-05-2003 02:31:

god

Posted by shao on Feb-05-2003 05:54:

I always considered flutlicht and shokk as 'hi-nrg' and not so much 'hard trance'...

Dave Joy - First Impression (S.H.O.K.K. Remix)

it's got everything! best melody AND beat...

Are you kidding me!, that production was the most crappest production ever..the song felt too empty.

The best SHOKK production is Orion Too - Hope And Wait (SHOKK Remix) ..very similar to Dumonde.

Posted by tranzformer on Feb-05-2003 12:09:

have to agree S.H.O.K.K. rules, mix of back to earth is mint

Posted by Anaardvark on Feb-05-2003 17:37:

Without reading the rest of this thread, S.H.O.K.K. (and subsequently Flutlicht) = God.

I traveled all the way up to Evolution last year, specifically to see Giotto's first UK set and it was awsome and have since seen him at the Tidy Weekender and Tidy London.

So far, ive not heard 1 S.H.O.K.K. tune or remix that ive not liked and continue to anticipate all releases
