let's be friends.

Yes, judgment on a certain level. But, would you say that you would use a post on an internet forum as a factor on decided on whether you would consider being that person's friend if you haven't even met them yet?

I would certainly consider it in my overall decision making, yes. The way one presents themselves in this forum is just as valid as they way they present themself in person. The persona one chooses to display is a reflection of who they are... a characture if you will that excentuates certain areas of their personality while covering up others.... what you choose to show the world through a published media can tell a lot about you.

Nothing wrong with drug use or whatever, but fuck off if you can't be an adult about it and maintain some level of composure, and be somewhat discreet about your use.

But I'm mostly talking about the idiots on this board who talk about being sketchy like they won the fucking spelling bee.

Meh, let them. It makes it a lot easier to determine who can have fun both on and off something, and if they want to label themselves like that it'll be their loss in the end.

I agree. Someone who is coming on this site to spew shit about being all fucked up on the weekend is someone that I would avoid.

I thinking my arguement was getting too broad. I was extending it to cool people who make posts that come off as being kind of stupid.

and beefy k, i agree with jenny and Moral, about judging people by what they post here. why wouldn't people want to give the best impression always to others?

LOL, yeah well nobody's perfect...which is why making judgments is so important. It helps to tell the difference between a REAL moron, and someone who just doesn't communicate very well.

I think so because we have been guilty of typing something that can be easily misinterpreted at one time or another. But if it's a continuing trend then that's a different story.

No, I don't buy into this whole..."Just ignore it" shit. Why should we let people like this continue to muddy up our scene?? Fuck that, it's NOT ok, and they should know it.

because it's internet and 90% of people on message boards could care less what others think of them, let alone "behave nicely"?

It is from and old native proverb that says:

"Don't judge a man until you've walked three moons in his moccasins."

3, 5, who's counting.

Does that not tell you something about them in itself?
