Well...
Even though this thread is now old, I still feel a need to give a big 'thank you' to everyone who was kind enough to take some of their time to write me a suggestion. It is kind of heart-warming to see that so many people are willing ot give you a hint when you feel down and even this little show of care can somehow make a person feel better.
Now to some of your comments...

| Originally posted by me@t k@tie Listen to jungle music! When I feel depressed, I always try and escape the city. I was feeling like shit last weekend and took the bus back home (near Algonquin Park). I am and always will be a country girl, so being surrounded by nature again gave me a feeling of peace. Haha, I can't even explain it. By the time I came back to Toronto, I felt rejuvenated. =) |
... When I was living back home in my former country Slovakia, I lived in a rather ugly suburb of apartment blocks (it is, even today, sometimes referred to as a ghetto by the locals
) in our capital city and I mostly disliked it and always wished to have a home near the big mountains on the other side of the country so I could look at them everyday... | quote: |
| Originally posted by SasH21 Hi Kamka, You don't need to pay money to exercise. A great way to feel better is to put on some good music of your choice (house for me, trance for others, or whatever your preference is) on your ipod and go for a jog outside somewhere nice. I usually go jog near my house, or somewhere in the park. You will feel so much better! You could even go to sauna after. Most gyms offer trial passes, so you can go for free, and they usually don't even check it, so you can use it multiple times. After that, take a nice refreshing bath and read a good book:P Trust me, this really works...Hope you feel better! BTW, I am usually willing to listen if someone wants to vent! XOXOXOX |

| Originally posted by me@t k@tie +1. I love listening to jazz music. I never get sick of it. I am also a big fan of classical music. When I need a bit of relxation time, I light some candles, put on some of my favourite classical or jazz music and read a book or have a nice bath. |
I like different kinds of jazz music too, both the older styles and more modern form, like one that has elements of pop... sort of like this one (Im not sure if its strictly characterised as jazz, but nevertheless: http://www.misha.sk/update/albums/mishacd2/2.mp3) Or more old-fashioned, like Meeee aaaaaannd Mrs. Mrs. Joones... oh, awesome
And I like classical music too, for example Gymnopdies 1 & 3 by Eric Satie are beautiful.
i sometimes like to grab my katana, go into a park with lots of trees and cut down small branches and plants. Or if there are no trees available i like to grab a medley of round fruits and vegetables, and chop them in mid air, i like to use apples, oranges, potatoes, or tomatoes. if im in a really bad mood i use melons, cantaloupes, and watermelons.
