same goes for me.. probably seen the man play 10-15 times in the last 10+ years.. I've seen him out of it.. but never seen him fuck up a set.

I think villalobos takes more than his fair share of criticism....I think he's just a sketchy looking dude no matter what he's drinking/taking.

Sven puked in the DJ booth at Aria when he was on tour with Richie. I think he kept playing though. DJs also get an automatic rep for being partiers (which is often true) but I've heard of instances where they are actually ill for some legit reason, like the way the rest of us get the flu, and they are still perceived as being intoxicated and irresponsible.

in this case looks like the dj tripping out is making it more fun for everyone else... but if they are an experienced dj that doesnt know their limits of when it will affect their set in a bad way, that's very bad imo

HAHAHHA!! That's awesome! The music is perfect for the dance too LOL! Everyone seems pretty jacked.

I wish more DJs would get into the music like this lol

that's just sven though...he's like that. that's part of what his deal is, part of his package, part of what everyone pays for.

Sandra Collins

+1 on that...saw her for the first and last time this year at WMC. She spent more time doing other things then paying attention to what she was suppose to be doing, dj'ing

Dave Dresden deserves an honourable mention

Good points here. It reminds me a bit of this event that happened in Lyon, France in summer 2005. The promoter has promised a party in the city with a bunch of great trance DJ's (AMAZING line-up btw) that did actually go through. The problem was that the promoter did not commit to his promises on the accomedations, so he had many DJ's ending up to pay their own way to get there, pay for their own place to stay and unfortunately like what we were talking about, looking intoxicated because they had nothing in their stomach. Ok, a little bit off topic, but it relates to the point that people who don't know assume what goes with the stereotype. That event turned into an assault on the promoter in the French section, even the DJ's at the event were asking for his head . Click here
