I would say PVD again. Armin can wait another 2-3 years. No offense, I really think he hit his peak in 2003-2004. He have to do what Tiesto is doing right now. Regroup and rethink about productions. Its funny how all the big Dutch DJs have go through this phase.

But not Ferry.

Read some of the review for New York LA and Washington DC, and you will found out what I am talking about. I love Armin to be #1 this year, but that means he doesnt have to try hard like Tiesto did in 2002-2004. It was Tiesto's ego that got him where he is right now. But he is rebuilding that old pre 2001 again, which is excellent.

I say Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, they're just as on form this year as Armin & Tiesto...

Silly. The voters of this poll don't care about real DJs- whoops, I mean turntablists.

Tiesto is going 2 take it this year. With armin a close second i predict.

Lets face it. The elements of life tour has gained him HUGE steam after the slip the past 2 years. Tons of positive reviews all around. What has paul van dyk fucken done lately?

its a dj poll not a producer poll so rethinking his productions shouldnt make a difference its what he can do on the decks although i doubt many people vote properly.

ferry is shite. saw him in cream and he cleared the place.

Another thing to note:

Anyone notice Tiesto didn't issue a 'please vote for someone else, as I am truly humble' statement this year?

is this another case of producers getting placed on a dj poll ?

Posted by darkdoze on Sep-21-2007 20:41:

I predict there will be surprises, upsets, outrage, arguments, innuendo and gossip.

Wait? Isnt that the Top 100 poll EVERY YEAR?????

Based on chatter I have heard, there has been dirty tricks this year from people trying to get others disqualified. I cant say anymore but understand this may have happened in Europe.

Now that would be exciting. Lets hope it's true, imagine the scandal. Im loving it. YEAAAAHHHH!!!!

Posted by the_gamemaster on Sep-22-2007 10:47:

It will be pvd. He's got 'vote for me in dj mag poll' splashed across all of his posters and website.

In whose world would something like that be cool??

I still want someone to give me a good, rational explanation why anybody should care.

You realize damn near most DJs/producers have the same type of advertising, right?

Posted by limin_li on Sep-23-2007 04:21:

If worse comes to worse, Tiesto will remain @ #3. But I have strong prediction that Tiesto will gain one spot to #2. We all hoped that Armin would be would be number #1 since 2002. I really think he should of been number 1 in 2003. Some say that The Top 10 is bullshit. But will see in a few days. Paul van Dyk did get some good reviews from Cochella festival as well Summerstage in NY, as well as a new album, which actually sounds lot better than last one. I am no way a big fan of PVD. If I had to pick out a favorite DJ. It has to be Ferry Corsten. But DJ Mag doesnt seem to agree. Heheh
