Vodka filled waterbottle is dangerous, I'm 0 for 2 on that endeavor. First time woke up on some strangers' floor in New Orleans, 2nd time don't remember opening for Nigel Richards, other than a saw a fuzzy blur took over the decks...oddly enough turnout for that show was really good so I got 12 drink tickets after half the bottle was gone.

Do it Bobby, but don't expect to survive through the marathon!

It's a double whammy... illegally young and illegally in the country. That's what you call ultra risky jailbait.

what a great Localized nite - Tolgar played a very headliner-esque set both in terms of tracks and crowd interaction - nice job man. Sadly I didnt get to hear Shu or Andy - heard good things from Tracy Tobey - then Tolgar, then I had to leave.

thankfully Sylz was in the area and took me to my car, which was towed because it was parked on Lasalle (marathon.. doh) - thanks for the ride to the pound Sylz.. you rock!!!!

everyone had great sets! nikos, sorry i didn't stay to hear you, but i was exhausted, and needed to just pass out.

rubes, noooooooooooooooooooooooo problem. i know all too well what that's like (see 'FAO: Garrit & Milo' thread). just goes to show ya nothing happens without a reason. i actually left much earlier, and as i was almost home, i realized my credit card is still at the bar at vision. when i went back, i bumped into rubes, and drove him to his car (which wasn't there anymore). maybe i'm a loser for pointing it out, but i love strangely orchestrated coincidences.

damn, this thread is getting philosophical.

Posted by wolverine16 on Oct-07-2007 19:11:

Thanks to everyone who was rockin around midnight, that was so much fun & had the time of my life. Great stuff from Shu, tracy, Tolgar, Ryan & Row in the main room and Mark up in the penthouse. Unfortunately had to leave suddenly because a friend was very sick & falling on the floor, but otherwise a killer night all around and great to see a lot of y'all. As always, Tolgar is the man!

Oh and forgot all my CDs due to leaving so abruptly, so Robert let me know if you have any extra Fuzzy Kitten 2007 labels left over.

What a sweet night!

Shu was playing some sweet stuff early on...very much enjoyed it.

Andy rocked it, was very happy with his set.

I went up to the penthouse after Andy's set to hang out and talk for a bit and came down a few min before I thought Tolgar would be on and was surprised to see him already playing.

I guess I missed the first few tracks, but it was a killer set. I had to leave shortly after the set, but it was great seeing everyone! Shu, Andy, Tolgar, Rubin, Milo and all the other random people I met and had a chance to talk to, it was great catching up with all you guys.

Def looking forward to the next localized.

I had a wonderful night and it was great to see all of you out there. Thanks for supporting locals in this city!

I sold my car 3 years ago and haven't driven to Vision since...but now that I signed up for igo, I decided to take the car to Vision last night... what a mistake...drove around for almost 40 minutes and didn't find a single spot...had to valet instead (Gerrit, thanks for the "secret" and the coal miner comment...lol). I missed Shu unfortunately and caught about 30 mins of Andy's set. Great stuff Andy though I was disappointed for not hearing Abba. Same for Tracy (damn those turntables :-( ) and Nikos. Nikos, last night was a blast..the afters was great...just got home.

I found out last night that the crowd wouldn't tolerate any form of breaks after I dropped my Run DMC boot... lol... had to put it in reverse and go back to the "electro".

Thanks to Yanix for making it out. Great to see you.

Thanks to Milo for biting my fashion sense...

Thanks to Sylvia for making me laugh as I got hit with ice cubes.

Rub, glad we finally got to chat and thanks for the pics! We need to work on some industrial pronto!

Have I forgotten anyone? I need sleepie.

Notice how Milo and I should call each other next time before going out... heh.

Gerrit's unwanted hand in my shot. Nikos, I uploaded the video I took of you onto youtube...I'm not sure how long they take to approve vids, but it should be up shortly for you to live your glory days.

Personal highlight #1 of the night for me: Walking across a busy dancefloor with a cocktail waitress tray carrying a shot of Patron for Nikos, Milo and myself. Mad props to those girls for what they do...that's no joke.

Personal highlight #2 of the night for me: Telling Ed the bartender I needed a drink for a female friend of mine who found out she's pregnant and wants to celebrate...the look of confusion on his face as he kept asking "wait, what did you say?" was priceless. I told him he failed the morality compass test because he made the drink. Then we shared a laugh. Good times.

Edit: Big ups to Mark Roy and Casey up in the penthouse. I got to check a little bit of their sets... great stuff fellas.

People on my shitlist for not showing up: Dave T and Bobby.

Posted by Rasidel Slika on Oct-07-2007 20:40:

oh yeah Mark Roy was throwin it down in the penthouse too.. good stuff. any dj that plays Five Five Zero by Moldan / Isma-Ae is ftw in my book.
