That's because the people moaning and groaning didn't want to look for the quality dark prog being produced. Just like there is still qualtiy dark prog being produced today. I really wish I had enough time to pump out mixes for people with up to date music just to show that there is still quality from every genre being made because I really have no idea where some of you are going to find your music or how much time you spend doing it.

I remember how back in June this year I went through every release on Beatport in the prog house section that came out within the past 3 months and I only found maybe 10 half-decent tunes. This style is not moving forward, that's why it pretty much dead to me.

Yeah well, most of the clips on Beatport are crap anyway. I can't tell you how many tracks I've passed up based on the sample and when I heard it in full, whether it be out in a club or a mix cd or whatever, I wanted it. Really frustrates me to even see reviews go up in the Review section of this forum based soley on a sample the person heard. Makes no sense to me.

Yeah, I have to agree with you on the Beatport's samples. I only use it now to buy the tracks. I find new releases on Juno - samples are longer, better and higher in the sound quality. But Juno isn't much help when it comes to prog house.

Amazing list of great tunes in this thread. I simply love the genre.
