This only makes me look forward to seeing him all the more.

Haha cheers Not too bad for my first mix I hope!

so, how was it?

I'm surprised no one has commented!

I liked it.

Good:

Big tent on a hot day (sucks to be on side stage though)
Crowd
Easy access to bars and toilets
great tunes

Bad:

Ridiculous entry gate position (where do you park the car?)
Short time slots for DJs

All in all a good day.

Tejada cleaned up I thought. Plump DJs were disappointing.

My review of Romboy here.

The set up is basically the same as Parklife. The entry has always been in the same place. Where else would you suggest they have people enter from?

They had a side entry gate facing out onto that street that is the continuation of Exhibition, but it was for security and event staff only.

That side is also far closer to public transport.

Walking into BBQ straight after leaving Summa was a really nice experience.

The crowd was nicely relaxed and chilled, how a crowd should be at a NYD festival... not like the pumped up people at Summa.

Turned up just in time to see Callander, then Keitel.Saw Gotye late, would have liked to have seen De La Soul but had to leave.

Great VIP area, plently of toilets and bars, like Beatblog said and overall a relaxing day in the sun.
