The polls credibility is dying. Maybe you should check the numerous other threads on the subject (if you don't believe me) both on this board and any of the other dance boards. People are sick of the poll, they do not believe the poll is credible and many think it is rigged.

That is why DJ Mag have been working so hard to make people THINK they are "cleaning it up".

haha your funny. I dont work for DJ mag or have anything to do with DJ mag and I never said I didnt think the poll was lame, but the fact of the matter is - its not DJ mag that vote - its the 375,000 people, all whom like different DJs.

The fact of the matter is that if it was based on raw talent, DJs like Andy Bagguley would be in the top 10. He is one of the best DJs out there right now and is so passionate about what he does. But, everyone knows its a popularity contest and the most popular DJ wins. Moan all you like, but the fact of the matter is that this is a true reflection of the most popular DJs in the world right now.

I think the DJ mag rankings make perfect sense. By top 100 they dont mean who is the most technically gifted dj but who is the DJ that more people will PAY to see....

it really doesnt matter if say for example eddie halliwell is a better mixer/dj than armin .. end of the day like any other profession the focus is on money and if armin can attract bigger crowds than eddie can, he clearly is number 1.. maybe not in the minds of people who understand the technical attributes that make a dj but try arguing with a majority who really dont know how well he is mixing ...its like comparing an independent film to a blockbuster Cameron movie

u actually think james zabiela in concert would be a bigger sellout than tiesto or armin in concert?? ofcourse not ... now stop cribbing that your favorite dj didnt make the top 10 and what a joke this list is.. atleast you have more dancing space in the club when he/she is spinning ..
