I've been switching between a few recently:

Junk Science 'My Name Is Jacques'
Sander van Doorn 'By Any Demand'

and

Chunk & Twist 'Battery Life'

Honorable mention goes to the 2007 Alive Edit of Daft Punk's mashup of Around The World & Harder Better.. That's a fun one.

My tune of the year

Posted by mnemonic. on Oct-27-2007 05:24:

kevin saunderson - say something (alexander konig remix)
soon to be something by Vibrasphere, probably floating free, or In control.

and way to go Digital MP, im so meticulous like that myself, i make sure my ringtones are on beat, that they start and end exactly where i want, and i even add a fade in/out to mine as well...

as for an alarm, its a short clip from a james Lauer & John Digweed set...i like it cause it starts off nice and quiet, builds up slowly, its very nice to wake up to.

past ringtones i've had were:

Green Velvet - La La Land
Joey Beltram - Energy Flash (deeper flash bootleg)
Luke slater at i love techno (ripped from a dvd)
Speedy J at i love techno (also ripped from dvd)

and one i have lying around on my phone that i made for my sister, but am considering using is - Kanye west: stronger

Awesome! Going to try that.

Mine are "Banana Phone" as my general ringer, and Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" for me@t k@tie cause she loves getting Rickrolled. I'm over the "cool EDM ringtones" phase. I much rather enjoy hearing something quirky. My last ring tone was the popular part from Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek. You all know the one:

(off-topic, fucking youtube removing the original clip of this. Now when i search for it all I find are lame remakes by people with no sense of humour and/or talent)

Others I've had:

I used to have an amazing collection of ringtones on my cell in the States, but not anymore..I have a new phone now...Can someone recommend a good website with EDM ring tones, or where do I get them? I have a razor if that's relevant...

Posted by FunkyCrew on Oct-29-2007 20:52:

just make them youself!

Posted by DigitalMP on Nov-01-2007 16:56:

Sash, I linked a shitload on the previous page.

Also, a special thanks to Nantez (Dustin) for his "LA Girls" set this summer. Man, that freakin set rocked the fuck out of everything this summer. I took a bunch of those tracks and made ringtones out of them (trimmed them to optimum beginning and ending points, 30-35 seconds each, and LAME-encoded them with lower bitrates).

Enjoy! - [[ LINK REMOVED ]]

Such a bad tune...i change it everytime it comes on when listeneing to V5...i changed my tone to....Disturbed - Down with the sickness

Posted by mnemonic. on Nov-01-2007 17:57:

when i get home i'll post a really tiny program i use to trim down my MP3's i think it'll re encode them into a lower bitrate as well. its sweet cause what you can do is set your in/out points of the clip you want to make based on the current marker position in winamp, and then fine tune it by frame as well.
