For a long time rich Americans would try to learn French and try to imitate British upper class manners. American "high culture" is nearly all borrowed.
In an open and transparent world where travel is easy it's not surprising that bits of other cultures tend to mingle and the air of mystery isn't quite pronounced. There's four rules of polite social interaction with people you don't know well, which shouldn't be discussed-
Politics
Money
Sex
Religion
Meet an American Aristocrat and you'll get told flat out how bad their partner is in bed so they've taken a mistress, how rich they are and how much money they make (usually while showing off their fancy toys and clothes in crass detail). Tell you how they're voting Dem/Rep and know/related to a senator and in hushed tones how the jews are really to blame for most everything and black people need to be put in their place.
Australians are funny, think of sticking a pig in a dress.
It's going to be a nice dress, but on a pig it's going to stick out anywhere and still, just a pig. They'll awkwardly try to be sociable and polite up to a point before realising they're sticking out like they don't belong. So they'll hook into the nearest bottle of Chardonnay and hope that by being drunk, loud and lively, someone will think they're at least lovable and a lack of graces can be attributed to just being drunk... as well as hiding any insecurities about not fitting in.

funnily enough, there is one burberry fragrance which is really nice. I just don't know if i could bring myself to use it, or i'd pour it into a different bottle to avoid being seen with it
The pattern itself, well it's just stuck to them, and how they make themselves appear. I saw this chav with his kid on holiday, poor mite was only like 3 or 4 & covered in total burberry pattern. then there's the fake patterned clothing which is just as funny

Chavs are just society rejects who all dress the same , socks in pants, burberry , lots of cheap fake gold , and also hoodies the age group is mostly teenagers but i have seen a few adults dressed like this,
I live near Greater Manchester and see thousands of them each day.
