I love it!
it was the most hardest party i've been to for the last two hours
PVD showed absolutely no mercy. he played such music where only the
strongest survive
. There were more
fucked up people there then there were at the Tiesto @ Hammerstein
ballroom concert earlier this year. people were just sitting on the
floors and catching that peak. and were they peaking.............
but overall this was a great first PVD experience for me. hopefully
not the last in my life.
Peace

best halloween ever!!!
I'll post my random pictures up later, I remembered at like 5:00 am that I had a camera and was like shit I should take a few pictures.
Loved that just about everyone came in costume.

This was the best Halloween I have had in years. Walked into Roseland and could just feel the great vibe. Checked my coat and headed up stairs. LOVED that everyone as dressed up for Halloween
Pvd's set was banging, he chilled out a little in the middle of the night but boy did I need to rest for a bit. Chilled with yankeebaby for a awhile on the side and just watched the freaks walk past. Around 3:30 he picked it up again and finished it out nice, although a little to early for me.
Overall great night!!!
Pics:

Well. That sure was fun. I don't regret not wearing a costume, but it was a hell of a lot of fun to see everyone dressed up. Did NO ONE get a pic of that guy who looked like a cross between hellraiser and road warrior? 6'5"+ with great ghoulish makeup and goth outfit and spikes coming out of his head? Fantastic.
It was great to finally talk to Hollywood, he mentioned (sorry if someone's said this already) that he's in the latest Denzel movie (American Gangster). Excellent guy.
Wonderful as always to see the usual suspects, and surprising to see Sean and Jason hanging out with us low lifes as well.
I go back and forth about other DJ's, but i still think PVD in New York on a good night cannot be beaten.
Anything else that happened on Friday is probably better explained by other people. I can't be held responsible.
Love,
M

Looks like this is the best production as far as visuals go for the entire year so far.
Finally, lasers are put to good use in the states!

k going off topic but you should really go to 1015 a bit more often

Yea i do. I know whenever i come home from Boulder and hit up 1015, there never are lasers just the screens which seem to repeat images more than anything.
Hoping for some laser action from the 15-24 of november

I wasn't able to do my normal magic with the photography. They didn't didn't have bright enough strobes. I got some cool laser shots, but that's about it.

Thanks so much for all of the comments regarding my set guys!
My set was short, only played until midnight. And it was impossible for me to see the crowd due to it being so dark at that time (which was really cool actually). I was the first one there and the last person to leave (literally)
I had an amazing time.
PVD was great, especially the way he opened his set and the last 2 hours of his set. That was actually my first time hearing him since Twilo.
There were 2 things that I was extremely impressed with during his set. One thing that really stood out for me was the way he incorporated a lot of different styles, especially in the last couple hours where he was throwing in a lot of classics as well as techno into the mix. Another thing that stood out for me was his true artistic talent. He had a couple keyboards where he would create and play melodies on the fly that he would layer on top of the tracks he was playing. Really cool thing to see up close.
I wish Stellar Designs could be at every event. That laser show was just unreal.
And the sound from Integral was spot on... loud, bass heavy, clear, but in no way overwhelming. It's not easy to make a room that large with such high ceilings sound as good as it did.
Another great part of the night for me was at the end hanging with all of you in the left hand corner of the room. Everyone was in that corner. lol The costumes were awesome as well.
Anyway, I'm off to the airport in a few hours to play the Carl Cox afterparty in Atlanta.
It was great seeing all of you and hope to see you Friday at Pacha!
