Vincent De Moor - Fly Away

Don't get me wrong it's a cool track, but when nearly every trance DJ is whoring it out - gets old and very quick. Doesn't deserve all the hype it's gotten.

Posted by Venire on Oct-29-2007 07:24:

Menno De Jong - Nolthando

It deserves nothing.

And the only thing I'm insinuating here is that it's getting to the point where people need to stop worrying about the process and start concerning themselves more with the end result.

Take hat however you want it.

I get what you're saying, regardless I'm still gonna keep playing what I like in whatever manner I enjoy.

Martin Buttrich - Hunted

I never heard of this track until last week. Am I out of the loop?

I think you mean the Greg Downey remix and IMO is added absolutely nothing to the original. The only good thing about it being when you hear it being mixed in you won't expect it to be 'Heaven Scent' until the main synth line kicks in, and at that moment it's massive. When it stands alone, however it's pretty

That hype must've passed me bye. I can't imagine this made enough hype to make this list. Anyway, i think it's a good remix which ad something else to the track, even if it's far from as good as the original.

haha yeah that's the one

Posted by TranceArmstrong on Oct-30-2007 03:07:

Julian Jewell - Air Conditionne
Oxia - Domino
Pryda - Armed
Larry Heard pres. Mr. White - The Sun Can't Compare

these tracks are not bad, but nothing special and are puzzling to me why I heard them in every set and / or saw them in every tracklist.

But the remix of Outhouse is awsome. So is India in Me, better than Dump Truck IMO.

Posted by GoSpeedGo! on Oct-30-2007 07:17:

Agreed on Deadmau5 and Dubfire.

Plus: Lucio Aquilina - Magic M

I didn't understand what all the fuss was about either. Empty track in every sense.

Lucio Aquilina - Magic M is huge though, hehe.

it took me ages to get the sun can't compare, but when I did, fuck.

Rob, you're so wrong about r u ok that I think you may have contracted syphillis by default

I like one of the hunted/hunter tracks but can't remember which

and pretty much everything dubfire makes is shit

Posted by stevebutabi on Oct-30-2007 20:03:

I just want to make sure that everyone writing off Deadmau5 has heard 'Jaded'. IMO that's one of the best tracks of the year.

I agree though that some of his others are only so so.

As for the topic, my tracks are Genesis and Save Me.

I only liked Chaim's Genesis in the Bonnaroo set because of it's placement and fx. Removed from that set, I can't get into it.

Parts of Guy J's Save Me sound (to me ) like someone playing a keyboard with their elbows.

why is that track hyped? ive never heard anyone play it. i think there may have been a typo in the charts because its the other side of that record "HUNTER" that is great. "hunted" is such a terrible cliche track. theres a million tracks that have a girl talking in a monotone voice. it gives the track this feel of a snooty pretentious fashion show type thing.

lol, I just heard the tracks and my opinion is completely the other way around, Hunted isn't particularly great but at least is solid and playable. Hunter however is plain annoying, I can't stand the sort of tracks based on these harsh synths playing completely random notes. It has a nice bassline but the synths ruin it.

Buttrich has done better.. "What's Your Name", "Full Clip", the remix of Ian O'Brien-Docker - Tottaly Alright, etc..

Posted by TranceArmstrong on Oct-30-2007 22:12:

well I'll listen to fabric 34 and gu 33 again, good mixes that feature 'the sun can't compare'

i just can't get into his vocals, i don't know

Posted by TranceArmstrong on Oct-30-2007 22:25:

wow how could i forget

Super8 & DJ Tab - Needs to Feel (Wippenberg Remix). yuck

Posted by distant on Oct-30-2007 23:08:

The Sun Can't Compare is 2006.

Posted by ThomasNeil on Oct-31-2007 12:53:

Filo & Peri 'The Anthem'

Possibly the worst piece of trance music ever made & yet it got supported & played by everyone

Posted by Scoops on Oct-31-2007 12:56:

Dump truck was released in summer 2006.
