Didn't recognise too many from his space set, but:

higher state of conciousness
proper education
Prince - lets go crazy rework??? (i think)

Some Depeche mode too I think

Prydz killed it.

Good seeing DJDOUGLAS on the terrace!! Sorry I couldn't stop a chat... a friend of a friend was in bad shape.

We ended up leaving @ 730 due to lack of amphetamines.

Long live the Space terrace. The finest environment I have ever had the privilege of partying at. Tempted to come back for Boris.

I'm probably in the minority but i was expecting alot more from him.
I had herd almost every track he dropped at Space.
He's one of my favorite producers but i guess i just wasn't feelin it.
With the Terrace you can't really go wrong but to me it just seemed like Cedric was spinning up there.
I'll get shit for this but i think he is a much better producer than he is a dj.
Just m.o.

It could be bc PvD layed down such shit, Prydz naturally looked better.

Also I can only comment on the first 1.5 hours.

One thing I keep noticing about shows is that they can be very situational. Some people will love a show, some will hate it. Perhaps only a small percentage of the show revolves around the DJ/music... other factors could come in... how you are feeling that day, what you came in expecting from a certain DJ, who you are with, if they are feeling the music or not, etc. Just a theory.

Also this was my first real terrace experience, of course it was going to be amazing.

I totally agree.
This is probably my 200th trip to the Terrace.I've seen every dj that has come to Space at least once. That means everyone!
For me to be imrpessed by a dj 3 things have to happen.
1.The dj has to bring new interesting tracks to the terrace.Prydz played it ultra safe and dropped a very commecrially set.None of his Cyrez D type productions!!
2.The dj has to be able to play the tracks that he drops with some type of originality to his mixing.(Prydz did not). His mixing was average, and not risky at all.He just played one track then another, never having a impresseive mix the entire time i was there.
3.The dj has to have some sort of Dj presence so to speak.Prydz was average when it came to that as well.

However saying all this, i do think that he had people enjoying his set overall.Which is hard to guage because with djs at Space it seems as though everyone always enjoys every set no matter who is spinning or how bad they really are.

Now i will say this again so that no one takes me wrong.I don't think that Prydz was that bad.I just think he was o.k. while keeping the venue in mind.
The last 2 hours of his set were somewhat boring and not really what i expected from him.
This is very hard for me to say and i don't know how i'm going to live with myself after this but i felt that Patrick M actaully had a more original and better set than Prydz which sounds stupid but if you were to take the 2 sets and listen to both of them you would find far less i.d.'s in P.M.'s set.If you go onto Cooljunkie you will see how many tracks people i.d.'d from Prydz set.Not saying that's a bad thing just it send's a message to me.

totally agree... the music is minor in the whole rhelm of things and the farther away you come the more those other factors come into play...

Lee will fuckin own anyone who goes as i've said before.
You will have no fucking clue what he's spinning.Only a couple that he's remixed.Hahahaha If that.Leeeeeeeeeeee is the one dj that i've seen countless times that has never been short of amazing!!
If your the type of music head who likes to hear a dj who spins techno, minimal, electro and other various types of edm in one set.Do not miss Burridge he will fucking destroy your mind proper.
Hit me up if your going.

To be honest I'm surprised he did what you guys say he did. In ATL it was stuff I'd never heard in my life... only played like 4 of his own tracks in 2 hours... and most of those were edits!

Posted by RzO on Nov-12-2007 22:23:

Prydz played exactly how i thought he would, and it was amazing. The tracks have already been listed so i wont have to do that thank god.

behind the wheel was great, as well as the robin s- show me love he mashed up over arnos cost-magenta. almost all the tracks he played were edited. I was watching him in the booth for a while he had the efx rocking kicking in samples and loops. tons of echos and all that, used it more than i thought he would. The other massive edit he did was sweet dreams over armed. this guy is nuts he has edited so many songs just to have the Pryda sound. He played to this crowd well, I couldn't of asked for more.

LP was up there the whole time, he loved every minute of it, that is good, he is back as soon as they can, perhaps u can expect a prydz marathon on the terrace during wmc. He has been drafted after his 2 shows this past weekend.

With the music, well he isnt going to experiment at space especially with LP standing there, he played exactly like i knew he would, and i loved it, i wouldn't of minded more tech, but i am progster at heart and he sure did lay some smooth shit down. no chunks and beeps, just one big happy record, start to finish. i wasn't expecting to hear but 1 or 2 of the cyrez tracks out there and that was how it was. Adeva-in and out was a proper closing.

he was good at cameo as well, only saw the first 1.5 hrs then headed to space, but cameo was packed, and hot chicks were dancing, especially the ones in front of our table, i got a show for free (well i gave her a glass of champagne) that rivaled that of a good lapdance., i couldn't of had ti work out better.

I agree every bit.. He dropped every production I wanted to hear.. Including kicking off the set with Armed.. It was a destructive 4 hors of pure Prydz.. The mixing was on point as he would keep mashig song into song.. Then just when you ready for a breakdown he would drop some massive beats to get the crowd moving again... He was having a blast... The terrace set will be something to remember for a long time to come and I hope to see him come back for another round...

Posted by miamitranceman on Nov-13-2007 02:43:

Couldn't make it to the terrace but he rocked Cameo. The ladies were definitely out as the poster said above!

He played a good selection of what I think are new tracks based on the youtube vids of his other US gigs. I think he saved a lot of his classics for the terrace.

GREAT night! I hope he comes back.

I agree! I even thought his set at Cameo was even better than Chicago. I remember more of Cameo than Space but we had a great time at both. Nice to see you again. Got to meet him and his manager at Cameo, both very cool and down to earth and then his manager hooked us up with VIP bracelets at Space. Lasted til about 9:30 then went back to the hotel. The energy was amazing. Dana did a great job as well.

Couldn't have asked for a better weekend in Miami.

zack, give it a rest, they arent the same dj. i love both of them and didnt see a huge dropoff. anyways, i was pretty jacked up from start to finish, but i enjoyed that terrace set more than ive enjoyed any in a few years, probably since the last time i saw both Ali and Sharam both on the decks and sander. than again, i dont go out to space nearly as much as i used to. and im not a trainspotter
