Yeah, Guetta is pop but I loved his set at Ruby Skye last time he was up here. C'mon now, "Smells like Teen Spirit" in a club? Too much fun!!
Will definately see him again!! *giggity giggity*

Eric Morillo is a must for me as well. Gotta see the master at work.

By far the most excited I am to see: Steve Porter!! *snicker*
Love his Essential Mix and KISS "Transitions" mix. Again, just energetic house that never stops, ever.

Paolo Mojo is a definitive "FUCK YES I AM THERE!!"

Christopher Lawerence, Thrillseekers, and Tall Paul top the list on my trance train.

LOL! I've seen Morillo too many times, especially this year and the last time he was at TAO in Vegas he was no good. I absolutely LOVE house BTW..it's trance that usually makes me vomit, with a few exceptions. Anyway, Morillo's solid most of the time but I desire a new experience. If I had it my way, I'd go to neither of them that night but Masiello or Digweed are not in town!

Benassi also belongs in the sucks ass category.

Who cares about the crows he pulls. He plays some of the cheesiest, played out, garbage electro (or whatever u wanna call the crap that he plays) that I have ever heard. Ughhh. His music has no thought in it, imo.

He played right after Hernan Cattaneo a few months ago @ Vangaurd, and he was a total buzz kill.

We all have different taste i guess.

I think the quality of a crowd has alot to do with events I'll chose to go to. It's not ALL about the music played. A better production and better crowd energy are always factors. I usually have more fun at Tentation on a Thursday night vs. Vanguard on a Saturday night with the same DJ.

I guess some people enjoy a room full of washing machines more than others.

music > production/crowd!

armin @ ruby skye w/ top notch production... really boring

eric prydz @ ruby skye 3 days later w/ same production and pretty much similar crowd...

Posted by gypsygirl on Nov-02-2007 04:16:

laurent gariner (sp) at avalon on november 17th

i dunno, all i care about is the music to be perfectly honest.

Posted by skell on Nov-02-2007 06:52:

gotta say i care about the venue and age of the crowd a LOT, in addition to the music. i saw some great performers at the Detour Festival a few weeks back, but man did the plethora of lame 12 year olds running around ruin it for me...

atmosphere is big on my list when it comes to what performers i'll see from here on out.
