MCing as lve noticed is now popular among the kids under 16!It's funny as they walk around with their mobiles phones and try to MC to each other on the streets

haha, the video from the thread starter is woeful...i just dont get it! how people can listen to that rubbish is beyond me!

yeah im not a fan of mixing these mcs with music. even at commercial parties/nightclubs etc i hate when the dj starts mumbling over the music. i love an awful lot of rap, so im not against all forms of talking with music....it just has to be done with some rhthym and a good tone. the majority of that d'n'b mcing is dreadful imo.

Agreed, woeful is probably the most appropriate word to describe that. There was one MC for one of Ferry Corsten's live sets this summer, honestly ruined the whole thing for me. What's the point of some dude swearing profusely every time there's a breakdown in a song?

I only like the MC during the White and Black Sensations shows but during trance sets it can get very annoying and messes up when a track hits its climax. Also I don't mnd at all for hardstyle shows too

Couldn't agree more, MC's seem to be a persistent annoyance.
However, I've observed that SOME MC's can be quite fitting for techno / funky house. It's really not such a good idea to have a trance MC.
Don't get me wrong, MC's have their place (ragga,jungle,D&B), but crossing over to house/techno doesn't always work out.
