so every forthcoming dubfire release(and ther are shitloads of em)will have a thread 135415634.9 pages long of people overanalysing music. too funny. I can say i like the audion remix of Dubfire - i feel speed. Mat did a good job with that one. proper ravehoovers

Posted by Ton on Nov-27-2007 10:29:

for fuck's sake, listen to yourselves. dubfire is damn fine producer, im glad he's decided to go his own way with techno, he was signed to m_nus pretty much after he went solo (that is fucking good progress). almost every prog/techno/trance/house dj has dubfire tune's in their box...why? because its quality music that fit's into many genres. who the fuck are you lot to say dubfire tunes are shit? i'd like to see you produce tunes that are of the same quality.

if you're saying that then you're basiclly saying that all djs that play his tunes have shit taste in music:

john digweed, sasha, richie hawtin, sven vath, armin, ferry, sander van doorn, mauro picotto, steve angello, paolo mojo, radioslave, dave seaman, kasey taylor, the list is endless. tell them they have shit taste...did'nt think so

if you can't appericate good music you should'nt be on the forum

get your facts right

People with an OWN opinion AND taste.

Dear god, not that "argument" again...
I'd really like to see you saying to someone that didn't like a move "i'd like to see you make movies that are of the same quality".
Go learn discussing using arguments and not such load of bollocks.

Of all the posts I've read in threads about Dubfire, this one has to be the best. Well done m8, well done. Never in my life have I seen such brilliantly flawless logic.

And there's nothing about this track that has a "full sound."

That's not good progress, that's Richie trying to cash in on a well-known name.

Posted by iammesol on Nov-27-2007 16:11:

possibly because he likes the track as well?

Posted by Cribby on Nov-27-2007 16:29:

I really enjoyed Roadkill, and Ribcage grew on me after a while, but this new track is just horrible.

Posted by bullz on Nov-28-2007 07:25:

This new track is awesome... I love it, and I don't care what anyone else says.

I agree the track is very repetative, but that's like 90% of EDM out there. This is just well put together. And I'm glad that M_nus released it since they always release favorable music.

Posted by Darrell Austin on Nov-28-2007 07:43:

This is the dubfire I dislike, this track is horribly mediocre. More Transit Time and Hold My Hand style tunes ali, less Ribcage and Emissions type tunes :<

Posted by Ton on Nov-28-2007 09:51:

ok, maybe i was a little firey before. people ARE entitled to their opinions. i just don't like people slagging off good music, thats all. one person might say a tune is shit but to another person it could be very special for some reason. can't you just say "its not my thing" or "i'm not a fan" or something like that then leave it?

i'm not a fan of funky house or breaks but i won't go and say its wank, because to other people its their passion.(except manufactured pop acts, they are talentless shits)

i don't get into arguments on forums usually (as you may well of noticed)i was just defending ali as he's made some crackers this year and i don't recall going to night this year and not hearing a dubfire tune

You manage to contradict yourself in one posting, congratulations!

And for the record: Adjectives like "good" are always subjective.

SRSSLY... some people on this thread seems to dislike some music with a passion... lol. Get over it.

What ever happened to being nice...

I like.Its good.

at the end of the day, we're here for the same reason. there should be no hate, only like-minded people that we can discuss the music we love with

Posted by Nik Novo on Nov-28-2007 12:33:

Yeah, but a discussion with "arguments" like "you're jealous" or "stfu until you do it yourself better" are not really discussions.

Yep.

The shittiest boards i've ever been to in the internet were artist-fans boards. Basically every single thread ended up with a wankfest of "omg this is great", "i love it", "woah woah", "awesome ". At least on TA, when you make a thread about a track, regardless of what it is, you can be dead sure someone will say it's shit. It's definitely more entertaining this way.

Besides the entertainment value, I know TA overall has become a bit too negative nowadays, but seriously, diversity of opinions = good. Over the years I got into lots of music that I would have never even tried to listen to, if people on this website didn't say "meh, i think this track you like is shit, why don't you try this other one instead".

i know this is completely off this subject but you live in camden town? i'm moving to london early next year and camden is my 1st choice of where to live. can you recommend any good letting agents?

Posted by Stasis on Nov-28-2007 16:37:

Hey Ton,

I got really, really lucky and am letting a flat directly through the owner. My friends live right across from the Chalk Farm station and they went with Chase.

They're very good if you're looking for something in the Roundhouse/Barfly/Chalk Farm area. I'm sorry I'm not much help if you want to be a little closer to the Camden Town station--the prices do go way up in that direction though, so maybe it's better to be a little away from it anyway!

Posted by Zild on Nov-28-2007 16:39:

This has to be the worst Dubfire track ever. It isn't even good as a DJ tool.
