When I heard Three play it on a good system, the kick did not sound squashed.

So who else wants to talk about how disappointing the start of Emfire has been?

I certainly haven't been impressed.

What were you expecting? I wasn't expecting much to be honest. Sasha is fresh out of ideas...and it shows...

I really liked both releases... Good for me, I guess

COMA is huge, Park It In The Shade not so much.

I like Park It In The Shade, but its not one of the best tracks I've heard recently.

I don't give a fuck about Sasha's ideas - at the very least one of the first two releases could have contained a non-Sasha tune.

I'm still plenty confident the man is capable of picking some decent tunes*.

*Please note, however, that I also didn't say they'd all work in a club.

I agree with the mediocre launch of the label -- the website isn't even live yet!

And as I mentioned before, the artwork has been a dud, atleast for the digital releases.

Bah. Still love the tunes though!

Has anyone heard this in a club yet? Maybe its one of those crazy, on-purpose ideas from that crazy Sasha.. crazy guy.

Thats what I was thinking, some quirky production style he's used. If we can spot a problem on the master you would hope that the engineer did also, leads to the conclusion that it is intended to sound like it does. BTW I haven't heard it yet. Will comment further when I have.

So maybe it was planned that way and the version we loved sounded like it did because of the session recordings noisegate?

I fucking love this track!

That first 4 beats are too catchy..

I'm done with it...doubt I'll play it much anymore.

I've already heard it used well and I dont think I could use it any better...
