A friend and I were just talking about this today. We think the staff is much more friendly and the door service are actually much more courteous now versus last year

I went to Vision and the door staff got the "show started" about 15-20 minutes late.
The rest of the night was problem free, and we had a good time. I even found an American passport in the seat cushions.
I returned it to some guy with a staff t-shirt on. Hopefully he actually turned it in.
I was pretty toasty when I go tthere and got in okay. Staff just looked at my I.D. and me than let me in. No searches or checks....
Although the first two guys in line...someone of middle-eastern descent and than his friend who seemed to visit Vision frequently. The kid wore a pair of tiesto's shoes and was sure to let us in line know. He kept spitting on the floor though, and he got a pretty nasty spot on the ground going. I mean I cough up loogs or whatever when I have to. But to just sit and spot non-stop. I told him to stop because the pile was looking pretty nasty and it was right in the path everyone was going to walk on to enter the club. The staff didn't stop them.
They showed up in t-shirts because they didn't want to pay coat check or use the lockers which cost money. They were broke, and well while they might be 2 more people paying $15 a piece to enter. They could have acted a little different. With a little more class while in line...
Did they tell you that they were too poor to afford coat check or are you just making baseless assumptions?
When we were in the club they referred to the fact they had no money to buy any booze and they wish they could.
It was that nasty snowfall on the 15th. It was a day where the question of wearing a coat was not a choice unless you got some bear in you.
You could argue a coat check will lose your jacket, or a locker might wrinkle things. But I think anyone out on the 15th would agree it was not a "coat optional" night out.
I don't care if they show up with a coat or in a clown suit, although the later is definitely going to catch my eye. They were just sitting there shivering and I thought they would have enjoyed a coat for the twenty minutes we had to wait.
My main concern was just the nasty pile of spit he was making. Is that ever called for?
I apologize in advance if we find out this guy has a saliva disorder.
For the record let it stand that I am pro-clown suits in clubs. Set that record straight right now.
