So what, take a look at Cheezy-Kanyeezy, everything is a rip-off. Timba makes MTV-music that doesn't make me puke, i can't remember when's the last time someone released a ton of tracks like that in a year. For me, Timbaland.

For trance I'd say Oliver Smith and for electro Dj Remy !

I'm goin with either

Dubfire: Roadkill, Stop The Revolution, Ribcage

or Kyau vs Albert: Love All The Pain Away, Megashira

Deadmau5 is good but... I dunno just not my style as much.

oh and Marc Marzenit, he had a good one (check out Spheere)

Yeah, such amazing productions, he must've spent like 5 minutes on each.

Sigh.

Deadmau5 is a bit overrated if you ask me, fin.

Posted by chesco on Dec-17-2007 12:03:

Just cos he's released the most tunes doesn't make him the best, when you bear in mind half his tunes are pish.

Len faki or redshape are, for me, a league above anyone else for production work in 2007.

1. David West
2. Eelke Kleijn
3. Dennis Ferrer
4. DJ SHAH
5. Trentmoller
6. Prydz
7. Guy Gerber
8. Gareth Emery
9. 16 Bit Lolitas
10. Dubfire

Quality > Quantity

Holy shit you can't be serious about Megashira right?? Please tell me you're taking just taking the piss...

Deadmau5 is quite overrated I think.

For me Tom Colontonio has been producing some quality productions. His remix of that Terk Dawn track was massive. Definitely a producer to look out for.

Also for other genres, The Timewriter, Sultan and 16 Bit Lolitas have been pretty good lately.

Jaytech & Duderstadt had pretty big years IMO. Wippenberg as well.
