yeah, who would've thought your invites to a reading of Derrida and an analysis of deconstructionism would prove such a failure!

no. not "Exaaaaaaactly". you implied you had a weary arsehole from taking too much cock from the packers, supposedly like i have. there was no insinuation that i was a cvnt (which is just a massive arsehole really)

Yeah, I'm gonna slap you around and call you names, and you're gonna apologize like a pathetic loser every time I hit you. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA.

6th grade and when I was about 6-8 years old. The only friends I would ever trust in any matter.

when i was 4 my mom started to baby sit my now token black friend jamaal.

in grade 7 i made a new friend steve after talking about how shadow warrior was an amazing game.

grade 9 my buddy steve, some girl, and my now drinking buddy randy were on my street screaming my name cause they didn't know what house was mine.

all of these friends are now all mutual friends, even though they don't usually hang out together without me being there.

the end.

Highschool and college.

Posted by Arbiter on Jan-10-2008 06:26:

One when I was 10 and one when I was 20. I guess I should be due for another in about five years.

Posted by bas on Jan-10-2008 06:30:

High school. I'm still really good friends with my best friends from high school. Although I'd say I'm really good friends with Clovis and OK friends with some of the people I've met within the past few years. Drugs really do help you make some good friends.

Posted by Fibonacci on Jan-10-2008 06:30:

The next poster I am going to designate my new friend. But the person AFTER him/her is going to be a REAL ASSHOLE!

Posted by bas on Jan-10-2008 06:31:

I hope I'm the person after the next person. Because I think you're an asshole too

edit // CRAP now we're best friends

Posted by Moongoose on Jan-10-2008 07:14:

16 (2) and 18 (1). And even though only one lives close by (one lives 55 km away and the other one 550) i still consider them my closest friends.

And yes, i am known to be a real asshole sometimes.

most of my closest friends are friends ive had from HS and well, MS. i moved at the beginning of my 7th grade back to japan and honestly while i hard a hard time fitting in and back then, doubted if the relationships would last after HS, they have and im proud of my long lasting relationships i have. like the facebook group says "third culture kid... you wouldnt understand." having gone to an international school where most of the kids are military brats, embassy kids, diplomat kids, kids of missionaries, expat kids, there were always people coming and going and i guess the inconsistancy in our lives and not having one place to call "home" bonded us in a weird way. add to the fact that most of us were in a "foreign" country helped. :P even now, when i meet ppl whove gone to international schools or have traveled alot, theres a sense of comfort and acceptance. and even now w/ everyone all over the world, i guess many of us have a hard time finding our niche in "normal" surroundings so we always go back to the "international" circle. i know that sounds extremely pompous but its prolly the best way i can describe it.

of course i have those friends that ive know from elementary school and the obvious; work, i doubt id find new friends thatd completely understand me like those friends from HS.

I'll be waiting patiently.

2 or 3 in elementary school, most in highschool and 2 or 3 in the last couple years (friends of my highschool friends). The funny thing is that, despite spending my last 6 years in university and meeting a good bunch of nice folks of my class, and we even got to travel together once, I still wouldn't consider any of them as "close", unlike the highschool bunch. I think it's due to two things... I'm not really a very social guy and failed at adapting myself well to university life (still hate that place); and because other wannabe software engineers like me, despite being nice people, are usually boring. Although 2 of the highschool guys ended up becoming wannabe software engineers too, go figure.
