The only porn actress I'd like to see leaving is Allie Sin. She's fit and all but, she looks so miserable doing that, I wish she could find a job she enjoyed

Welp, she worked long and hard to get where she is and she's definitely not leaving half-cocked.

can't say she'll be missed. I'm sure she made enough cash that she get vaginal reconstruction (yes, they can do that) and an expensive face lift.

Let her rot!

she'll be back. it's not exactly something you can retire from, like football. once a whore, always a whore.

she is a classic example of someone fucking themself up with way too much plastic surgery

To be fair, I believe she had some kind of cancer or illness that made her lose a lot of weight. That's what she said anyway. Could just be all that anonymous seaman she's ingested over the years.

I don't believe the cancer thing. One of the main tell-tale signs of anorexia is upper arms that are the same size as the forearms, like hers. Maybe that's why she's quitting porn: a steady diet of cum just isn't enough.

I'm not even talking about her weight loss, her face looks totally different than it did when she first started out. She looks freaky to me now. I'd google for some before/after pics but I'm at work and god knows what I would get if I search for her name

Oh I know. I was responding to Bas' post.

I never heard the cancer thing either, not that I follow jenna jameson so closely that I would. If it was an "illness" it was more likely a coke or meth addiction

What is with the stigma on porn "Actresses"? I mean, it's obviously a job that doesn't require a great deal of talent, but how is this far different from many other celebrity-type occupations?

Is resentment of it honestly a following for the demonizing of free sex? Free love? Libertine ideals? Seems a rather prudish stance to take on something that everyone appears that have an interest in, one way or another.

Yes, you're most likely being sarcastic/playing Devil's advocate....but would you date a porn actress, or any woman involved in the sex trade? Would you bring her home proudly to your parents/family/other?

I am also playing Devil's advocate.

Oh, sorry - yeah, I thought you were being sarcastic. It doesn't matter though - my question of that rationale still remains.

Exactly - there is a very strong stigma on that sort of thing, and that is what I am trying to get through. I suppose it doesn't even have to apply to adult film, but generally promiscuous women as well. I am well aware of a society deeply engrained with chauvinism and double-standards, and I think the remnants of this issue still remaining are what make it so important. That is, I am really not a possessive personw hen it comes to girlfriends, yet I still would not like mine sleeping around with other guys. Is it because monogamy is such a "natural" inclination or is it purely a social standard? Often humans are paraded as comparison for a species that "mates for life", but I see humans sleeping around with multiple partners far more often than not.

So what is it besides reasonable health issues that put a stigma on the activity of sleeping around? I just think there's far more to it than a mere history of taboo consideration, especially since sex has been regarded in such a wide variety of different ways from culture to culture.

A simple "No, I wouldn't bring a whore home to mom" would do.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Jan-15-2008 21:49:

Why does mommy disapprove of whores though? Why do we have the standards that we do?

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jan-15-2008 21:50:

I know why I have the standards I do. I can't speak for everyone else.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Jan-15-2008 22:00:

I totally believe that you think you know why you have the standards that you do. I doubt you actually do though.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jan-15-2008 22:00:

Oh fuck off.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Jan-15-2008 22:10:

Aww, my mistrust of your proclaimed self-poseesion struck a nerve, did it?
