Was the Essential Mix live from somewhere or was it pre-recorded studio set?

Ahahaha you're off your nut mate. Next thing you're going to be telling us how shit of a mixer Ferry is. LMFAO!

Don't tell him that, his world will come crashing down. The best way to deal with these clueless trance gimps / fan boys is to just let them live in their deluded little bubbles.

What, a mixer? He's the smoothest mixer I've ever heard man.

Depends on your style of mixing though. If you like long smooth mixes then Ferry is your man. If you like amazingly quick and crazy transitions then I can't give you an example as it's not my thing.

Yeah, the first couple of times i saw them they certainly didnt fit what i was expecting. Anyway, they've certainly nosedived over the past 3 years or so.

Yeah see in my opinion Ferry is a very quick mixer. He can be solid but he's by no means really amazing and creative. His mixes are pretty simple.

What's your definition of an amazing and creative mix? Not trying to be condescending in all seriousness, I'm just curious. Fact of the matter is, there's only so much you can do mixing trance anyway. The general structure is set up to facilitate a certain type of mixing.

Exactly.

DJ Three has great mixing. Digweed most of the time. Both Lee Burridge & Danny Howells are capable of really crazy mixing, long stuff. Sasha is good when he tags with other people because he tends to show off and try more interesting stuff.

To me interesting mixing is when two tracks really come together to form something else. When they play off each other for a bit and everything lines up and goes together nice.

I enjoyed their performance at tentation especially loved when they played heaven scent

They all play vastly different music to A&B, Ferry, etc though. Long smooth mixing suits melodic trance very well. I prefer mixing where I can't tell where the transition is.
