The club is near the corner of Mason and Geary.

Are you driving or taking public transportation (BART) from the airport? Which airport you going into? SF, Oakland, or San Jose? You can take BART from Oakland (after short shuttle ride) and SF. You can catch a bus to Cal Train and take the Cal Train in from SJ.

Driving from SFO 101N abt 7-8mi take 280 exit, stay to the right, exit 6th st., 6th turns into Taylor on the other side of Market (very slight left), right on Post, Right on Mason, parking garage on the corner of mason and geary (right side).

taking BART, powell station is probably best choice. It's a walk up Powell but doable. I've done it nearly crawling before so you should be good.

I might go. But I'm already going up twice this month...and then with WMC next month, maybe I should lay back for a little. ;P

Syd and I are looking forward to this, we'll definitely be playing a lot of classics to celebrate the anniversary and mixing it up with all the news sounds going around now

Peter Beckers and Guiv Naimi founded Spundae in 1993, right?

Yes, it all began at DV8 along with VSF and 1015. The two during that time wanted to expose electronic dance music to San Francisco's club culture. Since then they have accomplished that and more by expanding this passion to other cities around the world; currently Spundae also resides in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

How long has Spundae held events primarily at Ruby Skye? at 1015 Folsom? Any other venues in SF?

We've been at Ruby Skye for the past 5 years, prior to that during the first decade of the production Spundae was at 1015. We also do a number of our events at Mighty, which recently have been great and for the past several years we've been staging the annual LoveFest afterparty at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium with Skills. Looking back we have also created events at Slide, DNA Lounge and NV.

How do you feel about being a resident with Spundae in SF?

It's a great feeling and I've been honoring the residency since 2006. It's more meaningful and gratifying to me in a more personal aspect though. The energy, vibe, creativity and innovated ideas that Spundae has pursued over the years is something I've always felt connected towards, especially since all the people who are a part of Spundae I share many similarities with. In relation to that when I was offered the residency, I felt more so being accepted into a family than being given anything relevant to a title.

Approaching 15 years of Spundae, I certainly like to congratulate the founders for reaching such an accomplishment; to consistently reach a milestone with an ongoing momentum in dance music's culture is definitely something to be acknowledged. All of us here at Spundae certainly look forward to sharing our 15 year anniversary with those who have made Spundae what it is today: the DJs and the amazing people who create the energy on the dance floor, but equally we very much welcome those who spark an interest in electronic music's dance culture. We certainly make it an effort to get to know those who attend our events, which is why it's often said our nights have a family vibe to them. So whether you're someone who's been there since our first event in 1993 or you're now discovering the experience that electronic dance music can bring to an event, join us this Thursday and Friday night at Ruby Skye for our 15 Year Anniversary. It's going to be an amazing time with Gabriel & Dresden, Deadmau5 from Toronto and James Zabiela coming in from the United Kingdom along with local heroes Jondi & Spesh, Syd Gris and I will be joining in on the celebration as well.

I've been going to Spundae Events since 2000 (thats when i turned 21)

slick vid, but kind of a short interview. that guy should have had more/better questions. and where's the part about home of the 4-day work week!
