I have never heard any Blake Jarrell sets. But judging by the feedback so far it seems like a nice addition to the lineup. So this may be worth attending again, unless some other major event is announced for that night.

Last year was different because there was a Tenaglia afterhours party starting at 8 or 9 (I forget exactly), so the sets had to be cut down. There were 4 DJs starting at 10, so you do the math. Was Dekay (which I missed), then AVB, Schulz and Rank 1 closing. Obviously everyone played 2+ hours, at a minimum. I believe AVB played 3+ hours, but it's really a blur one year later. Since there is no Tenaglia afterhours this year, sets could be even longer.

If you are into trance, which I believe you are, this is probably your best bet for that night. At least so far it is IMO.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds good. So i guess by the looks of it there wont be another dj added to the four - doesnt matter since the 4 are kick ass. Then again they could either have one more name or just all play long sets since the event ends at 12pm.

i got a silly question to ask is parkwest night club Stereo ???

From what i think yes it is. THey were going to name it stereo but now they simply have a friday event called stereo fridays. Not 100 percent on this though or why they changed the name again.

stereo is parkwest. same venue. parkwest is the production company (from what i have heard) the name of the club is stereo, but since there are sooooo many "stereo" night clubs they also call it parkwest and seem to be sticking with that name more. so parkwest is just fine seeing as how space owns that, and even they call it parwest.

people... 100% the club is called parkwest... theres a HUUUUGE sign right next to club space that you can see from the highway. there were legality issues with the name stereo... so even though they have a night called stereo, the name of the place is in fact parkwest.

after last night... i cant wait for this... I want an extended markus set! too much to ask for, i know but a girl can dream

Wow...it's so awesome that there will be Armada All Night party for WMC 2008! Too bad that Rank-1 won't be part of the lineup. IMO Rank-1 was the surprise sensation of Armada All Night last year! That's ok...at least I'll get to see Rank-1 in DC on March 22!

Anyhow...I look forward to an extended set from Markus Schulz! And one more thing...it will be great to finally experience sets from Blake Jarrell and Menno de Jong!

i'll just be bummed until i know if armin will close ultra day 2 or not. lol

without jumpin down all the armin's fans throats I am almost 100% sure he will not close due to the fact that pvd always does.

im fucking sick of seeing him close at ultra, last year wasn't even all that great.. 2005 and before was his prime

with the exception of matthew dekay and a handful of others, i can't stand most of the big names in terms of what they play in sets. Last pvd show/set i enjoyed was last year around the same time in february when he threw down the sickest set at the amphitheater. Armin plays boring ass sets that absolutely go nowhere. Regardless I use to really enjoy them until i started listening to dj's like digweed, zabiela, burridge, hawtin, etc. and i knew what was up. Anywayz, sorry i went way off topic. what i'm trying to say is that PVD, AVB, STD, i would skip out on their set.

i can't hate on the artists you named, i guess its your pref in music. i like how armin handles his preformances, it sounds gay, but he's madd uplifting rather than just party. like digweed or hawtin...
