I just saw this thread today (Sat), but better today than a week from today! lol

I'm glad there's a Friday meetup also, as I will be coming direct to Utrecht by car on Saturday, but I look forward to meeting everyone on Saturday also!

I will bring some of these with me on Friday night:



We had these wristbands printed up for LoveFest San Francisco and I have some extra ones. They cost about $2USD each, so you can get one for 1,50EUR while supplies last, if interested. Someone told me once that I could let people bid on the extra ones at Ebay, but these are only for TA's and will only be sold at cost (no profit), at least by me! Let me know if you'd like one, so I know how many to bring (I'll have them on Friday night only, at the meetup).

You know... I think we should set a time and place AT Trance Energy to all meet up. I'm sure everyone wants to see Tiesto, so maybe we could all meet up somewhere during his set? In case anyone misses the meet ups, or we lose eachother at the party.

I have a meeting around 2am in the front on the left side with all my Dutch party friends. They wouldn't mind if the group is going to be huge. So if you wanna join let me know

...and exchange mobile numbers to text each other if you have one. I've been to many meetups at "massive" events, and it can be quite difficult to find people, especially if you've never met them before.

If you do bring a mobile phone and have an extra battery, bring it too! I lost my friend 3 times at Sensation White in 2006 and we found each other within 5 minutes by texting each other. A friend of mine went to Sensation White, lost her friends and never saw them again until the next day (she didn't have a mobile phone).

Short of that, pick a place to meet up after you get inside at a certain time, or several times, throughout the night (like we are doing). I will also have my mobile though!

yea definately, I want to see Tiesto but my friend and I are going to see Sean Tyas first, and then come catch the last 90 minutes of Tiesto.

Acctually, we're not sure what we are doing on Saturday, we might goto Utrecht early, but we're definately meeting up on Friday. We'll be wearing TranceAddict New York City shirts with our names and TA logo on the back, so maybe people will pick us out in the crowd too haha.

I am not going to have a dutch phone chip, just my italy vodaphone chip. I can still text back and forth with someone with a dutch chip right? How does everyone feel about going to TE a little sooner than what had been planned......Jordy? I was just thinking about everyone...probably needs to get a locker and tokens for drinks...lines might be long ...and u never know what can happen..

definitely have to see some of tyas and then head to tiesto somewhere between 2:30-3 and watch the rest of him

isnt there a card u can buy so ur cell phone works overseas for those of us comin from the US? and if so does anyone know how much it costs?

i to agree about going to TE pretty early...to beat the lines and allow everyone plenty of time to grab a locker and drink tickets...wouldnt be a bad idea

Hello everyone,

I am also for going to TE early enough to grab lockers. I'll be bundled up so it would be nice to guarantee a locker to put my jacket away so I can be dancing freely. =)

I won't have a cell phone while we're there but I'll be at the main stage most of the time, hopefully in the same spot the whole time. I figure many of us will be at the main stage so we'll know where to find each other in the main stage even if we stray for bathroom breaks, etc.

Less than a week to go, everyone!

Edit: blue glow stick idea is not a bad one.

I can text to the States for 12 cents per message, so I would think it's possible from Italy also. You might want to check with Vodaphone to be sure though. I'll defer the rest to someone who's been to TE before, first time there for me.

I think it's a good idea to leave a bit earlier on Saturday to Utrecht.

For the people that have to buy a train ticket, maybe it's better before you're coming to the gathering to buy the train ticket already @ Central Station, it will save us time and we can catch the train.

The best train ticket to buy is a weekend return/retour.
You have to tell the person behind the service desk:

I want a weekend retour ticket to Utrecht from Amsterdam.

This ticket is valid for the whole weekend, so after you arrive in Utrecht, don't throw it in the trash can, you need it to return to Amsterdam the next day after Trance Energy

So, is everybody going to Cosmic Gate or are some of you also into minimal? Because at the westerpark in a place called the flexbar some friends of me will be spinning. I live at the red light district btw so if any of you wants a tour

GEt ME SOME! I can't find any and I've beeen looking for a month! Second thought, I'm sure they'll sell them at the event..hopefully not for too much!
