Ich hab den Thread mal sticky gemacht, allein schon weil bestimmt Leute aus dem Ausland hier ins Forum reinschauen, aber ich muss feststellen dass:
1. Es viel weniger Kontroverse um das Thema als letztes Jahr gibt
2. Aber auch viel weniger allgemeines Interesse an dem Thema
Ich pers�nlich hatte schon fast vergessen, dass es stattfindet... 
Wir werden auf der Loveparade (sowohl auf dem HeavensGate Float als auch auf der HeavensGate Afterparty) eng mit iMusic 1 zusammenarbeiten.
iMusic schiessen mit ihrem Konzept momentan fleissig MTV und VIVA entgegen. Es ist ein purer Musiksender, und zwar ohne billige und l�stige Reality-Shows, ohne Klingeltonwerbung oder sonstigem Firlefanz, der sich bekannterweise im Programm der "Musiksender" breitgemacht hat.
Wir freuen uns nat�rlich riesig, dass wir iMusic als Partner gewinnen konnten und mit ihnen dazu beitragen k�nnen, dass die Musik wieder in den Vordergrund r�ckt (vor allem die Dancemusik), wieder an Wert gewinnt und dass das Format "Musikfernsehen" wieder Qualit�t annimmt!

this is pretty much the same as my post in the nature one thread, i'll also be going to the love parade and am having a hard time finding info about it because i dont speak german.
i couldnt get any accomdation in dortmund so i'll be staying in essen, will it be easy enough to get to dortmund during the event?
what actually happens with the parade? do i have to buy tickets?
if anyone can tell me anything at all that would be great.

I am still a little upset about moving the Loveparade away from Berlin. Berlin has basically become the mother of the Love Parade and the Love Parade movement, and the Strasse des 17 Juni has become a legendary setting for the floats, as the Siegess�ule has come to be a major symbol of freedom of peace, which is a major landmark for the legendary parade every year. I have always thought Dortmund and the Westfallenhallen more to be the site for Mayday every year. Loveparade has its roots in Berlin, and the vibe of Berlin has always been the ideal place to host the parade. I guess I would say I'm just a bit perplexed why it's moving, and I think it's two steps backward instead of a step forward. The outdoor public setting of the Loveparade in Berlin between the tower and the Brandenberg gate has always shown an openness of culture and been a sign of freedom and tolerance about our culture and our electronic scene. This site has also been a significant location due to Berlin's transformation over the recent years after the fall of the Berlin wall. The parade has shown the world the unity of Berliners and others alike, from east, west, north, and south, converging on this historical site to celebrate peace and tolerance.
The Loveparade had become a proud symbol, something unique to Berlin itself. It is disheartening to see it moved. Perhaps this was political. That sort of stuff has been happening in the States and it has just about killed the scene, in many cities. (ie very rare to see outdoor festivals in USA anymore). Berlin had trouble with the parade in recent years (had it shutdown for a couple years)...just very hard to politically keep stuff like this (of this magnitude) going esp in a large urban area. I hope we see Loveparade Berlin again, sometime. Hopefully we can party at the Siegess�ule again.

von dem timetable hat noch niemand was geh�rt, oder?! so langsam wird�s zeit, weil wir �berlegen doch noch hinzufahren ... zumindest zur heavensgate ..
mmmh, naja LineUp wird sicher noch kommen (*hoff*)
es ist schon schr�g.... die nacht hat nen supi Lineup. die Ak hat nen Lineup mit underworld und moby.
Andererseits spielt Moby auch am Sonntag im Freibad ... und �berhaupt ist die Party von Paulchen in Berlin ja auch super....
