Spot the slight issue here.

well first and foremost, i would say judging by the high prevelance of large aggregate in the wear course of the asphalt pavement, the screeds on the paver were not applying correct compaction force nor were the augers preventing seggreagation. This could also have been caused by the asphalt batch plant using a drum mixer instead of a pug mill.... amateurs... furthermore, there is a large paver shadow down the centerline caused by the asphalt handcrew not raking the cold joint before finish rolling, this will contribute to greater water infiltration of the pavement structure and in the presence of colder climates, this can cause frost lense de-lamination of the pavement structure.

Secondly the placement of the masonry walls on either side of the roadway reduce the stopping sight distance and provide a potential for collision. As a general guidline, no structure taller than 0.5m should be placed within 3m of a curbline.

Oh and i almost forgot, the pole in the middle of the asphalt does not have propper hazard marker signage affixed to it. A Wa-33LR should be affixed to both approaches of the pole, as well as square bar guide rail barrier should be affixed in a protective configuration around the pole in accordance with OPSD 903.1.

Alternatively, you could fire the dunce who put a pole in the middle of a frikken road. It must have been an electrical engineer that designed that hydro line. they are all dunces....

Perhaps it's the "dumb detector pole". If you hit it, you're dumb as fuck and lose your license. I think we should have some of those here. Turn the roads into slalom courses just to test if people are paying attention.

It would be pretty sweet.
