i think he had it officially changed to super duper.

maybe grossman can break favre's interception record. he has to make sure that he stays around long enough though. i don't think any other team besides the bears would ever think about signing this guy to play.

Brady over Montana? You have completely lost your fucking mind. When you get down to brass tacks the NFL is about winning Super Bowls. How about Super Bowl XXIII when Montana got the ball back with 3 minutes to play and down by 3 he marched right down the field and scored the winning TD. What did Brady do? He had 30 seconds left and only needed to get to field goal range. He choked and got sacked and couldn't get the ball downfield.

I always hated the 49ers but even I can't deny Montana was probably the greatest quarterback who has ever played the game. How about 31 4th quarter come from behnd wins in his career? I'll tell you what, if my team is down by 6 with 35 seconds to play and has the ball on their own 15 yard line there is not another quarterback in the history of the game I'd rather have taking that snap than Montana.

Brady isn't even top 10 material. Without the cheating and his stacked team he wouldn't put up the numbers he put up. Give him some of the shitty Dolphins teams that Marino played on and see what Brady can do.

i remember having a discussion with vern a couple weeks ago aboutt his. aside from jordan, montana was the hungriest athlete pro sports has ever seen. he always seemed to be able to one up you to win.

For sure. As long as Montana had the ball in his hand and the clock still had one second on it the game was never over. As heartbreaking as it was as a Bengals fan, I remember watching Montana take the field with 3 minutes left during Super Bowl XXIII and I knew we were going to lose that game. When the chips were down and it looked like he was in an impossible situation Montana was the kind of guy who just had a knack for finding a way to win the game.

I could take the time to post the stats and career acheivements of both Brady and Montana that show that Montana is clearly the better QB. But I won't waste my time since by your argument I can see you are clearly a Patriots/Brady fanboy and are unable to apply logic or reason to this arugment and instead just blindly repeat "Brady is the best ever" even though deep down you know that is ridiculous.

You are right we wont, because he isn't the best ever. He is a douchebag on a stacked team of cheaters. Without all the rest of the star players on his team he wouldn't put up anywhere near the numbers he does now. And we'll see just how good he is this year now that every defensive coordinator in the NFL knows that if you hit Brady a few times he falls apart.

I know I don't post that much in the sports forum eventhough i know should be but I couldn't help but to chime in on this topic...

I've been a Packer fan since the days of Murphy, Harris, Sharpe and the Majik Man. When Favre came to Green Bay, i didn't know what to expect. I used to cringe watching him play kinda like the Giants fans did the 1st 2 years with ELI.

Favre is one of my all time favorite players. He was a great QB and ambassador for the game. Yes, he wasn't the best QB of all time but he is the best football player of all time. The way he carried himself on and off the field, the way he played the game, charisma, passion, dedication, intelligence, etc. Favre had all the aspects of wich that makes a football player a legend.

Being from Jersey, I jumped on any oppurtunity to see the Packers play when they came to Philly, or the Meadowlands. I even made it out to Green bay a few times to see a few games. I was lucky to see Favre in his best and his worst.

Favre has done alot for that community to help restore that franchise as one of the premier franchises in the NFL. I would hate to see him return to the NFL the way Reggie White did
Favre helped

as for the other points on this thread, i will say this esp in regards to Brady. he is the product of the system. You could put Dave Brown on the Patriots team and you would have the same result. Brady did not deserve the MVP this year, that award should have gone to Moss. the MVP is awarded to the player who is most valuable to their team. MOSS was the difference maker, not Brady
