raw mushrooms, raw cauliflower and freshly picked kidney beans. Apparently the beans are poisonous until cooked, maybe a good job i only kinda munch on the green bit then throw them over the neighbours fence (or when i was younger)

yeah, that would never work in our house.

not too strange, but one of my favorite snacks when i was a kid was plain popcorn (made in our old school 70's-mustard-yellow-colored popcorn popper) with melted butter & peanut butter drizzled over it. i'm fairly certain that you can invent any kind of "strange" snack with peanut butter and it will always be delicious.

well it's not really that strange in another place/time, but

i eat a 50 cent piece of bread just about every day for lunch

some of the things i think are pretty weird though are:

i've made banana-walnut gnocchi, also pear gnocchi

honey, grapefruit, and goat cheese bruschetta

i tried making strangolapresti once from scratch (ricotta cheese and ground up spinach wrapped up in a grape leaf with a cheese sauce. it was really cheesey.

i eat whole blocks of gouda or fontina at a time
