I'm not gonna think this is good until it hits the beatport top 10.

Posted by enydo on Mar-10-2008 20:47:

I can't wait to hear all the little shit-filled goodies he loads into Imagine.

I consider it more as a pop track rather than trance, but I'm enjoying it nevertheless.

i like it too

laughably bad but not Anthem Bad

I love this guy, but I have to say this is awful...God I hate to say that, I never thought there would be a day where a high profile trance artist would produce something that I honestly didn't like. The synth work is worth listening to, but the vocals suck, lyrically and engineering wise. There is just somthing so amatureish about this track...and believe me I hate bashing this, Armin is like on the top of my list.

as an armin fan, i like the song. even if i hated the guy, id still say i like this song, the universal religion remix is the best. the vocals arent bad at all, i enjoy them. while its not the best vocal song armin has ever done though

Wow! If even GQ doesn't think it's automatically The Best Evar, then you KNOW the track's got some problems.

I heard that womens' jeans constrict the bloodflow to both the brain and the penis.

Predictable post is predictable.

ive listened to it again now on good speakers and especially in the climax it doesnt sound really tight production wise either. The vocals sound like a bathroom due to the chorus/flanger stuff on it etc etc

Hehe, openly solliciting for a remix opportunity here?

if it were house you guys would be all over it

No, we wouldn't be. No one would be. It is shit, and shit is shit regardless of genre.

Shit.

I dunno guys I might be getting back in to Armin because this track is the bomb!

They better put it in the beatport house section then!

I heard his "Universal Religion" mix which is supposed to be more trancey I guess, but it's a joke as well. I'd rather watch paint dry.

There are as much shit house tunes out right now as there are trance, so not really.

Posted by chucho on Mar-12-2008 10:29:

just heard the universal religion mix and still the same

this makes sound cascada underground

Posted by czips on Mar-12-2008 10:58:

I've just listened to the samples at armada website..

This tune isn't so bad, however definitly not my style.
I would like to hear more uplifting trance from Armin, because (ass I guess) he is one of the best producers in this kind of trance music.

No...?

Will have to check out this sample when I'm home - not able to now.. but... was pretty disappointed with "If You Should Go" (JOC remix was not bad..but generally speaking, it kinda sux0rs).. and I have a feeling from reading so far, that this is not gonna be much better.. that really really sucks.. if this is reflective of the album, will lose faith in armin production-wise... at least he's still good live for a listener of that style (won't call it trance per say.. but yeah...)

*crosses fingers that whole album isn't shit*

Posted by DarkMemoria on Mar-12-2008 16:39:

The vocalist is really really bad... track just sounds kind of weak overall, but the vocals are just horrid... can't think of any track with vocals as bad as this

Posted by Kalmix on Mar-12-2008 18:27:

It sounds great! thx

Posted by 8Wonders on Mar-12-2008 18:36:

I think you guys completely miss the target audience for this record!

He's simply trying to fill in the gap on the album with as much varied material for as many people as possible and what's wrong with that? Not everybody will like everything on the album, and as such this track isn't for everybody.
