Both Deoderant and Anti Perspirant.

There's a gel type of anti perspirant from Gillette that I use, it's great, doesn't leave any of that white crap left over. Spray deoderant in the summer is awesome as well.

Yea I wanna come too, I wanna come too - my Nivea stick deodorant from Europe is almost running out

I bought some Fa spray last year when I was back home, but I was scared to take it along with me to Canada, because it says that you should not put items that can explode in your luggage... or did I misundersand it?

Posted by Crook3d on Mar-20-2008 02:15:

I had to check my stuff.. but deodorant I didn't really realize there was a difference I always just bought stuff that I like the smell of.

Posted by smuncky on Mar-20-2008 02:22:

this is the stuff i use. i've used adidas brand deodorant and anti perspirant since i was in grdae 7. never gonna switch.

i signed up for a free trial of this product and got 8 sticks in the mail to give out to friends and so on. but i mostly kept them for my self

Anti-Perspirant is to 'stop' you from sweating.

Deodorant makes your sweat smell 'better'.

Thats why the combo is the best if you can find it, cause I find anti-perspirants don't really work that well.

I know we've heard the stories, but is it true that people have suffocated themselves to death because they put anti-perspirant all over there body blocking all of their pores from breathing?

Okay! I think this will be a fun little outing, haha. If anyone wants to come shopping for European products and food, try to have the afternoon of March 29 free.

lol urban myth?
pores does not equal sweat glands

(actually i heard this before and i wonder if it could be true)

It's a myth. It has, however, been linked to Alzheimer's disease.

not unless they put it up their nose.

Are you for real man? You HONESTLY question if this is true??

Posted by Crook3d on Mar-20-2008 02:59:

There was a thread on suicide in cor that was talking about painting your entire body in order to block all your pores resulting in death, if it is applied thoroughly enough I'm sure antiperspirant could do the same thing. Though with paint you get the added bonus of picking the colour of your corpse upon death.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Mar-20-2008 03:02:

LOL, that is such a crock of shit.

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Mar-20-2008 03:04:

Won't the pores just push the paint off your skin?

Posted by Crook3d on Mar-20-2008 03:07:

lol I can't say I'm particularly inclined to try, though it might be fun to be painted completed bright orange for a while.

Stupid question

What's the difference between male and female deodorants?

lol exactly how I have always made my choice. I knew someone else that used mitchum antiperspirant and they said the same thing, that they could skip a day with no noticeable effects.

Well... the ladies' razors have wider comfort strips, so I prefer theirs. Schick Quattro for women, FTW
