instead of random tards who come on to message boards to rant about their latest rolling experience.

Try listening to some Al Azar stuff it is quite nice, especially Wither remix.

Yes I was.

Now, what does that tracklist have to do with this thread?

Posted by BERTIE-AHERN on Mar-21-2008 20:52:

there like wolves on this site..they hunt the new members down and give them loads of abuse

and there afraid to say anything to each other when it comes to a good discussion..

id like to see if the site had no new members.this site would be so boring indeed.they would"nt say anything to each other!!

Posted by SteelWolf on Mar-21-2008 21:07:

I don't like to flame people as its not in my nature, I am not a douche. But sadly thats the way ALL forums are, I'venever been to any forum where a neverending flame cascade eventually killed most threads. I've been flamed a lot but don't think it ever pissed me off, well there was one thread where I was pissed beyond belief, but oh well, its not liek I'd ever meet most people here (tho theres a few I would liek to, theres some really neat people here). It is sadly the nature of the beast my friend/

Is that your Tracklist Mystery? For what mix is that? I only know of your new Big Beat Mix and your Prog Breaks mix.

It's a mix I just played a couple of hours ago. Didn't record it.

seriously OP, what do you expect?

if you say something stupid, then you get called on it. if you say something worthwhile, you get respect.

obviously we can't all agree on music taste, but at the least, planting a seed of doubt in the mind of a new listener is also a seed of musical growth and self discovery.

one of two things can happen - someone starts to wonder what else is out there, and someone realizes they are happy with what they have. I tend to be for the first position, but as long as it's a conscious, informed decision on the part of the listener and not something false like peer pressure, laziness, or marketing, i think it's all good.

as system-j said, this forum is self-cleaning. i think you're going to get a lot more out of it the way it is (challenging) rather than to be a member of a forum where everyone always agrees and listens to the same tired tripe.

embrace diference! see my sig quote

"To achieve sustainable innovation, you need to seek persistent disequilibrium. To seek persistent disequilibrium means that one must chase after disruption without succumbing to it or retreating from it"

honestly, this forum is tame compared to the 'scene' of flesh and blood, and even other dance music forums I use

I swear to God, that if I go online after a week and read the posts on TA and I see NO flaming whatsoever, then I will videotape myself butt naked with a cucumber up my ass and fluffy pink bunny ears on while singing a song of your dear fellow TA's, choosing!

.. Man I gonna regreat this.. ^^

Posted by smakmagik on Mar-21-2008 22:01:

TA is a source of absolute knowledge, experience and well, the COr. Guys who get flamed shouldn't take it personally, if you like cheesy vocal trance then you like cheesy vocal trance. If you're afraid of getting flamed, dont post on here. Are you that scared of having an opinion that posts by 'internet strangers' affect the way you think?

People here have more musical knowledge than any book I ve read. Take the good stuff, learn from it, and ignore/laugh/play along with the crap. After all it is the internet, with the magnificent institution that is the COr.

Listen to whatever you like, learn from TA wherever possible and let the COR be what it is, a daily dose of super nonsense entertainment.

It's only flaming when you take it personally.

Smagmagic, so true. Its about having fun, not taking peoples outburst to seriously.

And yes, people do truly knowe alot on this board, many have been here from the beginning.

Its good to have a place where I can get my questions answered, even tho I have listened to trance since 1999, Im still feel that I have loads to learn, and lots of great music to discover :-)
