Haha yea, I've got a few. It's basically as someone said, if you don't make your intentions clear at first you end up in the friend zone and then you're fucked.

Shouldn't be a major problem really as there are plenty of others, but there's always those couple of friends that would be perfect but you just can't touch. Oh well, move on. Stay friends with them and go find other ones to be your girlfriends, one nighters, etc. Definitely no shortage of them out there and getting stuck on one chick when you're not going out with her is suicidal to a guys confidence, ego, sanity, life.

And don't directly say it anyway. Make it known through other ways but if you're too eager to get her and are all over her, chances are you'll just scare her away.

Being a wuss though and not making it clear (in a subtle way of course) is definitely worse.

Easier said than done, but actually a very valid point. You seem to get better reactions from women if you treat them normally, but when it's one you really like, it can take a fair amount of effort to get into that frame of mind. If you can do it easily, then props to you
