santiago nino was about him not paying punisher for designing his website. punisher made a thread but never mentioned nino. someone found an earlier thread where punisher mentioned designing a site for him and put 2 and 2 together to figure it out. nino got really pissed and i think he ended up having his dad pay punisher for the site. i think punisher deleted the thread because he didn't really want to hurt anyone.

Wow, that's pretty hardcore beef, if it's true. I don't care how cheesy ATB may sound, being as arrogant as PVD comes off in this one should not be allowed no matter how popular, famous, or skillful you are.

i have personally experienced his arrogance. i have a shirt that i get signed by djs, and i had to get rukes to get it signed since he wouldnt sign it from me. i was polite about it too! i dont bother them while they are mixing if possible and i try to get them when they are looking through tracks or whatever. nope not pvd. asshole the whole way.

Well, I'm usually pretty nervous and snappy when I'm playing, so I don't like people bothering me at any time. But I guess he's done so many gigs that he has the confidence and he's very famous, so he should expect people to come up to him and ask him to sign stuff.

I have to say though, good call on not bothering him when mixing - even paying attention to someone talking when you're trying to twist that knob could trainwreck your transition. Hate it when people do it to me.

yeah. having so many friends that are djs i try really hard to only "bother" them when doing ancillary things. its not me to bother the fuck out of the dj when they are busy doing their thing. i was polite and waited till the end when he wasnt doing ANYTHING. i find that pretty considerate. the fact that he still looked at me, and then walked off showed how much of an asshole he was.

Oy, yes, I remember that story. Did not know it was his last conventional gig. I remember him saying that the CD player was skipping like crazy, so eventually he couldn't take it anymore and hurled the CD which hit a girl on the forehead and she had to get stitches. Hopefully, he won't do that tomorrow
