Originally posted by zizack Deadmau5 was the headliner, he can make all the demands he wants...legally his demands shouldn't have held any water, and the promoter should have just stuck to his guns and not kicked Marcus off the night. the convo Marcus posted in his myspace blog mentions that Deadmau5 IMed him asking what the deal was...he doesnt' post the whole convo. For all we know, they never established that they were in fact playing on the same night. about the whole thing being a joke...idk...I can clearly see why Deadmau5 wouldn't want to be on the same bill as the guy. In Marcus' blog, he says the Deadrat6 thing was purely a joke on all the Deadmau5 "copy catters." That seems like a bit of BS on his part. Deadmau5 may be a dick head for all we know, but not many of us know him personally enough to make that call. Marcus Schossow (sp?) seems like a cool dude, and funny guy. Unfortnately in this case, he poked some fun at a dj / producer who is bigger than he is, and one that apparently has the power to call shots like he did. I'm not saying I think what Deadmau5 did was right, but obviously Deadmau5's happiness on that night was considerably more important to the promoters than their desire to have Marcus dj on the night. The promoters are the ones at fault IMO, and I hope to hell they paid Marcus his full fee that night, along with giving him a serious apology for wasting his time.

I haven't read the entire thread, but I have some thoughts. 1) Basically, that was a really shit move. You're not going to get the image of a badass by saying you're following orders, then saying you don't want to play because you got offended, then saying you actually don't give a shit. So there's the bad boy of the scene image out the window. 2) No promoter wants to book a moody pillock with an oversized ego who's acting worse than a teenager on her period. Nobody wants to deal with this shit because there's no saying when another bunch of clubgoers will be disappointed because you decided to be a little mermaid with a sandy vagina. Bad for business. 3) Your sense of humour is fucking horrible. (was that "bring me socks" thing supposed to be funny? ) 4) Get over yourself. 5) Good luck getting gigs once your 8th note shit wears off amongst the average club punters (and it will) 6) Fuck off. 7) I bought Faxing Berlin, and I hope you put that money and all the rest you've gotten into a few sessions with a psychiatrist. You certainly do need it. edit: oops, forgot. 8 ) If I was your manager I'd punch you in the face for being a fucking idiot. If your manager hasn't punched you already, I suggest you fire him and do him a favour, because being your manager is a terrible career move in the long run.

Originally posted by knittybone Yeah, that didnt come out right at all, as I shouldnt have posted after a long night of drinking and striking out at Mansion... but anyways what I think I was trying to say was that if I had the power as a DJ, I would be a diva and ban other DJs from my parties if I didnt like them.

Originally posted by knittybone Haha I dont... Yeah, wasnt bad, DJ was pretty much commercial cheese (Robin S, Thriller, and some Pjanoo) but the place was pretty good (mad expensive though). It was a total bottle crowd though, and barely anyone was dancing because it wasnt hiphop mashups with 80s. Makes you miss the old Crobar... and also there wasnt much room to operate if you werent in the VIP. You are going to Max Graham? Curious to see how that one turns out...
Mr. Schssow
Why don't you give Deadmau5 cock?
Don't you love him anymore?
He will do ANYTHING
I must admit, Deadmau5 has a great marketing advisor!

Originally posted by PaulCky411 hahaha... love the new lyrics... "deadmau5" is a fag apparently who can't take a joke / move on... i wouldn't mind hearing that schossow sees him at another event and ends up hitting him in the face... that skinny "mau5" would go down after one punch... what he did makes me think that he never graduated from middle school and still cries when someone makes fun of him, what a pussy

Don't think this has been mentioned here but Deadmau5 seems to have been pulled from the Dance Valley line-up. Got an email there with the flashover stage line-up and his name wasn't there and I checked the dance valley site and his name wasn't on it either. Hmmmm???
