Yeah I saw a similer notice where they were selling Sasha and Digweed merchandise.

BTW, I got there at 11:45 and was NOT offered my choice of a refund or 2 complimentary drink passes with a free pass for Saturday's event. In case if anyone's wondering, I did buy my ticket in advance through Ticketmaster. The guy simply took my ticket and I wasn't told anything.

I think the guv complex is stupid, but I can't expect much out of clubs these days in T.O. anyway as they all act pretty stupid.

I say they make it up for us at labour of love 08 in the mainroom. Having them play again at the end of their NA tour would be way to soon.

agreed.

the crowd was awesome, it really seemed like actual club goers came out, not the same bullshit 40 year old asians on drugs standing around, taking up valuable dancefloor space and contributing nothing like in the guv main room on ANY saturday night. the worst part is, these people know near nothing about dance music. and its not just the old asians. i really do see them as a problem, but that wont change because they bring money.

friday had massive, MASSIVE potential to be a very memorable night......a HUGE disappointment...

You have a point there, but I just think that a few months have to pass before they come back. You cant have too much of a good thing too often. There has to be a wait for this type of event. So IMO if they were to make it up to us, it would be some time towards the end of the summer ( a weeknight would be insane ).

a week thursday or friday night.....def. not saturday, wrong crowd for sasha and digweed, youd only have a bunch of twats who dont appreciate their presence fill the club.

I went ostly for Sasha, and the fact they were playing together.

How many people got the 2 drink tickets? There was a lot of confusion when they first opened the doors...a lot of people got shafted.

I had a good night, Digweeed killed it, but the whole kerfuffle pisses me off. Boo to you Sasha for fucking up, whatever that 'passport' issue was that stopped you from crossing the border. Either be better prepared, hire a manager that knows what the fuck he's doing or don't book across borders. No excuse for not making it.

Bring them both back some time after mid may....

Sasha is pretty great as is Digweed ... but there Tag Team is Key

+1 i really wish they removed those huge outdoor white speakers.. they always cut out.. the ideal upgrade would be better if they had smaller speakers but more speakers placed throughout the skybar.. and make the VIP couches a little more discreet ...maybe even paint the floor,, I'm sure skybar would do much better with some improvements ( i doubt this will happen soon since guv was already renovated )

Hahaha, it's Tuesday morning and I'm still not over Sasha's MIA bullshit on Friday because of his missing passport. LOL Anyway, in 2 days he's got to get pass the Mexican border because S&D bus tour are scheduled to play 3 gigs April 17-19.

Bet you Sasha gets all his travel documents sorted out and the lucky Mexican club kids are all happy and we still got screwed.
