no way. hell no!

lebron has so much to prove, but i believe he will eventually live up to the hype. while he has become a good scorer, his game is more akin to Magic, where he gets everyone else involved in the offense. the only jordan like game he's had was the game5 against detroit last year wehre 'Videogame James' had 25 points in the 4th+OT.

Jordan is more of a cold blooded assassin, ready to completely dominate a game, not with statistics, but with pure will.

until lebron wins a few championships, there shoudln't even be any comparison.

sexy post!

completely agree with everything u said

Sixers - Pistons series is hot, now that the series is tied can anyone really predict who's going to win that series?

Avery Johnson Im guessin will be fired pretty soon....they need to fire George Karl too, an NBA team that cant play at least a little defense is just unacceptable

gotta love the feuds with Paul Pierce and Atlanta and with Lebron and Stevenson, NBA needs to get back to the old days with the nastiness and occasional fighting on the court.

The circus came to town in DC this weekend.

I do think it's funny to compare Lebron/Jay Z w/ Deshawn/Soldia Boi.

It's basically the funniest hip hop battle I've ever seen.

I just think it's funny that Jay-Z and LeBron dignified the Soulja Boy stunt with a response. I mean, you're the best basketball player in the league and you're going to let one comment about being over-rated get under your skin?

Also, LeBron started this whole thing - he told Drew Gooden that Stevenson's beard is as ugly as his game. Gooden got traded away and told Stevenson, Stevenson made the over-rated comment, and now we have a new hip-hop feud.

Posted by RJT on Apr-28-2008 21:29:

Indeed - I'm not saying it isn't petty nor that it isn't as much Lebron's fault as Deshawn's, but if I were to bet on how history was going to remember the two I'd have to say that I the whole Lebron = Jay Z, Deshawn = Soulja Boy analogy could wind up holding pretty well.

Hawks making it a series against the Celtics

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Apr-29-2008 03:02:

How different Game 5 would've been for the Suns if they didn't make so many turnovers

Seems like that trade for Shaq didn't work out too well

Posted by Trancealot on Apr-30-2008 04:44:

Suns don't suck. Its just the Spurs after 4 titles are still steam rolling

Playoffs are where you came so far and now its time to finish up. When you see Dallas and the Suns lose year after year you wonder why they are not finishing with the players they have? The celtics right this sec if they even make it to the finals might have to watch some of the west playoffs

Freakin atlanta. if atlanta wins it will be like the nuggets back in 90 freakin 4 lose to an 8 seed ehhh

the only difference?

08'Celtics >>> 90'Sonics

What a game in Cleveland!

LeBron guaranteed they'd close out the series and then he missed the potential game-winner!

Go Wiz!

Seattle, 93-94
Boston,07-08

>>> come on, do the hw first then decide.

Watched some of the cleavland game tonight. It was decided basically by free throws at the end.
I wonder what lebron is thinking when he passes to someone open amd miss over and over and over Its like they miss and then they get an offensive and give it back and he shoots and makes it. That is good but still wtf is his team? Did anyone else notice in the 4th this happening?

Yeah, but it's about time this started happening. In Games 1, 2, and 4 Wally, Gibson, West, and company were playing out of their minds. LeBron beat the Wizards in Game 1, but the rest of the team won the other games for him.

Now that the Wizards have figured out a defense against LeBron that is working, hopefully it becomes a better series. Game 6 in DC on Friday is going to be nuts, and then anything can happen in a Game 7.

And as far as free throws go... LeBron was 16 for 18 from the line... can't get much better than that. Caron Butler, however, was just too phenomenal tonight.

defense is also part of the game. lebron didn't do a very superstar job on that end trying to cover caron butler, not to mention allowing the game winner

I did not watch the game due to some work ughh but I am sure Darius Songaila not playing due to the so called face slap caused the wizards to get wrecked. esp.@home.

on the flip side only thing keeping lebron from real deal HOF status is one ring. With his team comparing to last year. LOL he will have to get quardruple doubles this time
