Went to Cancun in '06 for reading week. Stayed in the Grand Oasis *the 5 star of the Oasis series*, which was really nice. Lots of young people, and a lot of partying.

Bussed to the clubs, cabbed back. Fun places to party - Coco Bongo, Fat Tuesdays (don't think it is open anymore ). Can't seem to remember anymore off the top of my head. There is a Trance club but I can't remember the name of it either.

Really really enjoyed the Xel Ha excursion. If you like nature, and snorkeling, that excursion is a good idea.
