Ever heard of supply & demand?

So whats the point of this post? Ah yeah. The need to fit into the l33t.

I'm surprised so much effort and practice goes into a mix CD for someone who probably plays out so much. It really makes me wanna hop onto my decks too, hehe.

Especially on Pioneer 1000s MK 3... i'm not quite sure where the art is in the mix anymore. Pretty funny set up, but then its a nice lil' feature to show he's put thought into this one (hopefully).

The 3 songs heard on the vid make me even more excited for this one. I can't wait to get it, lay on the beach, relax and listen through it.

So I think it's safe to say the point of YOUR post is the need to suck on Tiesto's dick and defend him whenever someone writes something negative about him. Awwwwww! How cute!

No, he had a point though

I know woscar. I can take it from you, from loads of others too, e.g. from a lot of people which I meet regularly in other threads, the Tracklist section for example. I cant name them all
My quote was meant in a more general term of speaking.

Just checking your reactionary skills; which appear in fully working order. Further consideration before posting would've allowed you to see my post below the ass-lick approach and realise i'm actually a rational tiesto fan (if you can believe it) I can even do self-thinking. How about it!

Wow. Now that is a life we'd all enjoy huh? I agree with Dan, the tracks he played there sound great, and I too cannot wait to enjoy it over the summer. That intro is lush.

You know, after the Tiesto concert here, everyone claims to know and loves tiesto's stuff. The vast majority going there only did it becuase it was popular with others. I bet all these same dumbasses who'd never heard of him until all of the hype of his set here will go out and pre-order his album. It kinda gets to me.

It's the very reason I didn't attend. Too many try-hards were going, and I had an exam .

I got this in the mail yesterday.

what the fuck happened to this series? Look, Tiesto did an all right job picking tracks that flow together with an "Asian" sound i guess. but the endings on both of these CDs sucked ASS

to me, the whole point of the ISOS songs at the end was this: the sun was coming up, and it was supposed to be this massive, epic, trance-tastic explosion of a sound. a fucking sun-gasm after partying all night long in the club. Sparkles [Magikal Remake], Airtight, Personel Reflexion, Perfect Silence [E-Craig's 212 Remix], and Little Bird are all awesome endings to the previous series. ISOS6 and now ISOS7 ending on this sucky, lame, drawn-out "chill" track makes me wonder at the end, "what the fuck did i just listen to?" if i heard this at a club, i'd think, "am i at a fucking high school dance?!"

you shouldn't be ending something like ISOS with a lush, chilled track. it should be something massive, epic, making you want it more...a perfect closer is just as important, if not moreso--in my opinion--as the opening and everything else in the set.

what a disappointment

I couldn't agree with you more

Couldn't figure out which thread was the main ISOS review thread, but I finally listened to this heading up to NYC for the 4th.

What a disappointment is right! The first few tracks on CD1 set the mood nicely. I thought this was gonna be good. But then the flow just took a dive. There was no coherence to it after the beginning tracks. Some of the vocalists in some of those middle tracks were literally horrible and couldn't carry a tune! (I didn't have the tracklist in front of me at the time so I'm not sure which exact tracks I'm referring to.)

The second CD I actually thought was much better. There were times when I thought I was listening to ISOS 1-3, or even Nyana. The energy was good, the bpm was up, and the "feel" continued generally throughout the entire CD without interruption. It was much more fun to listen to pt.2 and still gives me hope that he can put together a good compilation.

Not as good as ISOS 6, IMO.
