fuck

shreveport is the same way...its more expensive...so if fares are a good $100 or more cheaper, i'll drive to longview (GGG) which is 60 miles west of here.

they only fly tiny little prop planes to connect you to dallas to go onward, but worth it. i usually sleep on any aircraft anyways too. lol.

but yeah, i'm debating between LAX and MIA for this free ticket i have. its got a shit load of black outdates and stuff, but even if i can't get it for a weekend, at least a few days during the week will still be fun.

the internet is cheap until you find a great travel agent. I got my first class ticket over here for 500$ less than the cheapest online price. You save online, but you could save even more.

Very true, but finding a good travel agent isn't that easy either.

lol I can't stand the long bus rides anymore. 8hrs to go 200miles is too damn long.

When are you coming back to Toronto for good.?

it definitely doesn't take 8 hrs. i did that recently and it took 4.5 - 5hr on greyhound...on the way back it took 7 and drove with a friend but we hit some crap weather and took breaks.

Lol, I did over exaggerate, but the point was, it takes too long. I'd much rather fly or drive it myself.

not too long...if on the clock then i say take the train. flying takes time because airports generally far from city center plus you have to get there early. i flew between ny and boston and never again. i'll take the train or bus to tell the truth.

Seriously, I am usually 35-45 minutes MAX early to the airport. Why? The 2hr bullshit is for people who need to check bags. I usually never do. I have my backpack and that's it. If you have bags, then add another 15mins. 1hr is easily enough time. Seats are assigned anyways, and most airlines are offering online check-in. I'd much rather deal with the shit for a 1hr flight than drive 3-4hrs.

i prefer the train...more space AND you can plug in your computer and work. if going nearby train is the best means of transport imo

I took Amtrak from Seattle to San Francisco two years ago for SF's Love Parade equivalent. Such a beautiful ride. Twenty-two hours, but you really don't notice it.
