the internet is cheap until you find a great travel agent. I got my first class ticket over here for 500$ less than the cheapest online price. You save online, but you could save even more.

Originally posted by chimera66 it definitely doesn't take 8 hrs. i did that recently and it took 4.5 - 5hr on greyhound...on the way back it took 7 and drove with a friend but we hit some crap weather and took breaks.

Originally posted by gehzumteufel damn you guys!!! ![]() Lol, I did over exaggerate, but the point was, it takes too long. I'd much rather fly or drive it myself.

Originally posted by chimera66 not too long...if on the clock then i say take the train. flying takes time because airports generally far from city center plus you have to get there early. i flew between ny and boston and never again. i'll take the train or bus to tell the truth.

Originally posted by gehzumteufel Seriously, I am usually 35-45 minutes MAX early to the airport. Why? The 2hr bullshit is for people who need to check bags. I usually never do. I have my backpack and that's it. If you have bags, then add another 15mins. 1hr is easily enough time. Seats are assigned anyways, and most airlines are offering online check-in. I'd much rather deal with the shit for a 1hr flight than drive 3-4hrs.
