Haha, my gf does this all the time, it's annoying as all hell. On saturday she rang me drunk from a party and rambled on about completely random shit for half an hour while sitting there in a room full of people. Thank god for 'uh huh, uh huh, yeah, yeah, hmmm, uhuh' and MSN. I mean damnit, if I wanted to talk to you and hear about who's snorting what and drinking what, then I'd have come to the fucking party and not gone home at 9:30 to get some sleep.

She did it this morning as well, rang me up while I was eating breakfast, and started rambling on. I don't even remember most of what she said because I was so tired and incoherent, but it definately wasn't 'phone call at 8am' important. Made me miss half my breakfast

She also has this annoying habit of ringing me at stupid times to ask dumb questions. She knows I work monday to friday, the same time every day, why she calls at 2pm and is all surprised that I don't pick up is completely beyond me. Just message me ffs and I'll reply when there are no customers present.

Anyway, thats my rant done

Lol, my ex did the very same thing. I remember getting a call late at night where she asked whether some actor was in some movie or not.
I then had to listen to an half hour rant about what she had for dinner, the funny things her friend had said about something and shit like that.
I even said something like "How about you come over tomorrow and tell me the rest, I'm pretty tired right now." but she completely ignored me.

I can't understand this women habit too. I mean what is the point of talking to the phone for some absolute unnecessary crap for minutes when you can just arrange some date and talk then? I remember one of my ex-gfs who was probably addicted in talking to the phone. Ofc I used the "I have some work" card a lot but one time she just said "Why you always have some work when you are talking to me?" and that hit the nerve and I quite honestly told her that I hate talking to the phone for random not-needed crap. She took this into account and stopped calling me so often.... and after one month we broke up!
