Alains opening set was some DOPE techno... and yoji was just
(mostly just 150bpm BANGERS!) how am i at work right now?
tetris track was cheesy yet so awesome that only yoji could of pulled it off!

alain sorry for missing your set, was off getting faded at some bar earlier on then kept bumping into friends trying to go into the main room to catch your last 30ish minutes. thanks again for the shot, dont recall what it was but thanks
left the main room a few minutes before james stopped playing but we were in the lobby chilling until the music stopped
Really liked Alain's set, Yoji was good, didn't know how interesting tech trance was..first time I heard that type of music live..It was really fun to dance to..
James, I listened to ur set for 10 mins, went to move my car closer and got back in 20-25 mins and the fucking place was closed...I actually came to listen to ur set and couldn't do so..hehe
all the djs kick ass last night, this is one hell of a night in a loooooonggg time for my picky taste of music! if 3 djs can impress me in one thursday night then that show is nonetheless stellar! first time in a long time i didnt fall asleep in club waiting for a headliner to impress me!
alain, i told u last night and i will tell everyone here that miss ur set again that u set it just perfect for Yoji... that banging techno then right in the end i was getting worried Yoji gonna play tech house like he did in LA, but u pump it up instead to tell the mofo to go crazy... awesome! just perfect
then Yoji... wow... what is this guy doing not in the shameless top 100 dj poll, becuase if there's such a DJ poll... skillwise this guy is TOP 3! all time... i mean thanks to Yoji, now i put such an even higher standards on professional international top DJs... if i am paying $50 to see ur ass on the turntables... then please be more than an expensive CD... mix with the damn mixer will you please? they all need to watch freakin BIOMEHANIKA mix and sit down in the BIOMEHANIKA school of mixing!
then... mr. James Williams! thanks for the guestlist again! for a second there i saw you standing there with ur headphones, must be pondering how the F am i gonna take over after this master BIOMEHANIKA tore up this club... i was thinking the same thing... ok James, what you gonna do? i do not wanna be in your situation right now... after the last DJ drop Tetris Song, and SANDSTORM! how can i TOP that?????
.... waiting... waiting... James is up...... and... the song stops!!!!
THEN.... ZOMBIE NATION!!!! hahahah good job James... i love that u continue the old skool trancers, then ur next song is a bomb hard trance track too! that was perfect to end the night!....
wow... sorry if it's so much gibberish and rants.. but i just had to say it... I HAD one of THE BEST NIGHT of 2008 last night!
Yoji was crazy! I've never heard 150bpm at Ruby and I know that system got worked! Got to see a lot of peeps and over all it was a great time! Alain had a great set too! Dark and dirty tech!
I love that Yoji acts out the songs and really tells a story and makes you interact with him. It wasnt just another DJ playing, it was an amazing performance!
and hey Delphis... good talking to you last night!
oh my god.. massive apologies for Lukasz last night... for thinking u were "somebody" else... ahahha can anybody guess who?????

oh ya i remembered what alain got me, it was a chilled patron coffee shot! best chilled drink i can remember because it had tiny pieces of ice and went down so smooth! also remembered i went to quiznos right before going into ruby then an hour later in the middle of yoji i had to grab my backpack but got hungry again so i went to jack in the box
rey is right about james too! he continued with some banging tracks!

Let me put it this way. It wasn't the best music I heard at Ruby Skye and I'm speaking more from personal preference.
However based on personal preference and professionally. That was the most fun, party music I ever heard there. I mean for a second, I got so lost in the fun of it all that I stopped thinking I was at Ruby Skye. Any stereotype people have of this place was left at the door last night.
Great Crowd, Great Party, Great Fun
Thanks for all the kind words everyone, I've been waiting for an opportunity to play techno like that at Ruby Skye and I'm glad Yoji's team was very supportive of that in advance. I foresaw it as being a good contrast to his set, since his sound has a lot of different elements you don't hear in techno at all; more so those crazy and fun sounds. So I figured the audience will appreciate his debut even more, because overall it was his night.
He was extremely nice, when Yoji approached me at the deck he pretty much said "Keep going, just let me know when you'd like me to come on"
I was like "Dood, they've been waiting forever for you to play SF"
I saw on it on his face right there - it was that look of
"you're absolutely right, I'm ready, Let me destroy this place now"
Yoji is a DJ in every way. Awesome night. He ripped it.
Thank You
