I dunno man.. I guess I was expecting some bigger names.. Except for Armin and Glenn, all the rest play in Miami all the time.. I was hoping there would be some new acts coming through... Oh Well.. Hernan at Mansion is going to be an epic show...

Now the Lawler, Fanciulli, and Dubfire lineup at Guvernment you are attending I would definitely pay $35 for, if not more.. Lawler and Dubfire are supposed to do a Sunrise set on the Skybar also.. That show is going to be epic...

Yeah Hernan hasn't been in Toronto since 2006 and depite hearing a lot of live mixes and his Sequential mix cds, I've still never seen this guy live, so i'm looking forward to that. I think he'll play really well. He always try staying in key which I iike.

Now the July 4th event in my eyes is weak because in Toronto, Donald Glaude is coming to Guv anyway in a few weeks, and Glenn Morrison is actually coming to Hamilton, a city near Toronto like next week

Yeah I did actually only pay $36 for the Dubfire thing, and that will be a crazy show. I really want to hear Dubfire now, cuz he's totally switched up his production style, to more minimal/techno. And the sunrise set will be crazy as well...Lawler does it every year, but I've never seen him spin at the Skybar, so Im going to now finally. In 2005, it was actually Lawler and Sasha (!) who played together on the Skybar, which I can't believe I missed cuz I was too tired to keep partying.

I am looking forward to see what the Miami scene is like though, and as for this event, there isnt too many times where I can party at a hotel pool, so I think that aspect makes it up for me.

If you have really been here since 2003 you would know this site was never to keen on Armin.

The one party where he got praise was his first time @ Space around Oct 06 or 05 whenever it was.

So being #1 has nothing to do with it.

edit- glaude is mega fun!!! though that line up is all over the place.

well i have been signed up since 03 but mostly lurked around......wasnt till last year that i keep up with TA...

anyways i saw armin the first time i think in 03 when he went to level(i think it was still level before they closed it and turned it into mansion) i thought he really sucked. (markus opened for him and his set was better than armins) then i got away from trance cuz i got bored of it. in around 05 is when i started to listen again and i dl'ed a set of his and i started to like his sound and i saw him at pawn shop for armin only and ive liked him since ...but since hmmm id say late last year his sets have wayyyy to many vocals and his album is Blahh and full of vocals......he's starting to remind me of tiesto...

his asot shows are ok ep 350 was a great 8 hours of music to listen too on my ipod.

Also something good to note will be the fact that they do not check backpacks,so if you were to bring sayyyyyyy a bottle of Bombay, it'll be cool. Or so I've herd........

just an fyi... during conference they checked our bags and we had to throw out several gatorades, but the security guy let us slide in with some sandwiches... so im assuming he would of made us throw out any alcohol as well.

I know he is playing AC on the 4 at nite but that club closes at 4am...

my guess is that he is on 1st plane out of AC and into Miami and will around 10am to play the terrace saturday morning
