dude, y=mx+b was a lot easier than d/dx(2x+1). calculus >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> harder than >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> algebra
well for the record there are A LOT of chinese and indian people at my school too... but many of them are just on student visas and when they do finish their masters of phds (i have none of them in my classes i am only going for my bachlors atm), they will be sent back to india or china to earn next to nothing. i dont know why but i was talking to one of the kids and he was telling me that the companies dont even accept his resume because hes on a student visa. i ended up feeling bad for him.

indeed.
linear algebra isn't just about slopes and and simple equations. i covered some linear algebra when i was studying graphics programming. i remember doing some 2,3, and 4 size matrices. didn't go too far.
and congratulations.
I remember the professor in my computer machine perception class used linear algebra and mathematically proved that England's controversial goal against Germany in the 1966 World Cup was not a goal.
Outside of engineering, linear algebra could be useful to settle a few sports related bar arguments ![]()

For $50 incl. shipping / handling, I can send you 2 x annoying, hairy indian pocket calculators.
Have to deal w/ the accent though, deal?
pfft, whatev. you got a B+ so that's all that matters!
Yeah, really. It's over and done with, and you seem pretty happy with it.
Congrats. =)

I found discrete and finite element much more of a bitch than linear algebra, perhaps it was because i learned how to get maple to work on my ti-83.... |
do geology instead!

The actual Finite Element class is a graduate course at my university so I will never see it again unless I go for my masters degree. |
