Surely you have me confused with someone else... I'm as cool as a sea cucumber and smoked salmon roll.

This'll be a fun meet though. I think the last time I ran into you was a couple of years ago!

The most amazing sushi place in Sauga has to be HINOTE SUSHI I LOVE THIS PLACE and if you live in the area you NEED to go check it out and Mamiji is good too for all you can eat Sushi buffet

Nada, you should try Lai Wah Heen in the Metropolitan Hotel for Dim Sum!

That Hinote place is like a block away from me yet I've never been there. I always drive to Mamiji on Winston Churchill, that place is pretty good! But you definitely should try Prince Sushi at AMC Courtney Park TRUST ME!!

this could be good....love the SUSHI!! keep the update...

knox and cribby....

Posted by StereoPrincess on Jun-08-2008 12:47:

i crave sushi on a daily basis.

i am in for a sushi eating night.

i would just worry that 50 people would show up to this. it's pretty difficult to accomodate that many in a small restaurant.

Posted by Cuzo on Jun-08-2008 13:12:

I eat sushi at least 3 days a week.

I'm down for this if i am reminded, forgetful Frankie always needs his salmon sashimi fix.

Wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with 50 names on the roll call, but like last time, once we settle on a date and location it will thin out.

Either way, I'll call around, see what capacities are. I don't think it'll be a problem but if we have to cap it then we'll find a way somehow.

Sashimi

This is just the raw fish. No rice. No vegetables. Just fish. For all the purists out there as well as global conservationists concerned about the recent decline in rice production.

lol.

Don't forget the Sashimi!!!

Posted by rabbitjoker on Jun-09-2008 14:35:

Sashimi! YES!

Posted by Ania_xox on Jun-09-2008 15:07:

we're going to eat Sasha?

Posted by Search&Rescue on Jun-09-2008 15:07:

I've only tried sushi a couple of times and its usually been the maki.
I can't say I actually loved the taste from the times I've had it, but I wouldn't base my opinion until I've tried other varieties. Like thai food, I acquired a taste for it and I love it now.

So.."I'll swing by if there's nothing better to do."

I am in for this, I love SUSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII...stop being babies, it's really not that bad ;-)

Posted by mnemonic. on Jun-09-2008 16:03:

mommy i'm scared.

i've tried sushi, but it doesn't appeal to me. Udon looks f-ing delicious though.

Posted by TO guy on Jun-09-2008 16:07:

Definately add me to this list.

Posted by DaRoZa on Jun-09-2008 19:11:

ahhh this is looking more and more appealing.. and just want to add, for the people scared of new foods... miso goes down as easy as any canned soup or instant noodles you've ever had. and if you're not into raw fist but like crab meat, you'll probably be able to get crab sashimi.. no rice or shell to break, just a slab of sliced goodness

LoL, so is that a yes or a no?

Posted by DigiNut on Jun-09-2008 22:27:

P.S. You all have to drink one cup of sake per roll.

If you're eating sashimi then it's one cup per bite or per slice, whichever is smaller.

Posted by barbina on Jun-09-2008 22:33:

i had sushi last night and thought of all of you

sashimi i went to our little place haha
it was mad fun
and no one is eating my boyfriend

cant wait!

Posted by zoogla on Jun-10-2008 00:06:

I'll check this out...lots of weddings coming up now in June and July on weekends so let's see if it's a good date.

I heard there's a really good understated (i.e. not the most elegant) place on Queen.

However, for the best sushi in the GTA you have to drive up to Markham/Richmond Hill. Best all-you-can-eat sushi/chinese/tempura/grill/all kinds of other stuff (especially the green tea ice cream) place is right next to my office at Hwy 7 and Leslie: WASABI.

Not subway accessible, but who said north GTA peeps can't try this on their own?

Posted by Porky on Jun-10-2008 02:52:

i'm in

can't do wednesday night though
