Is it really so hard to grasp that you are existing in a time where a game so perfect has come along that it has the chance of wiping Chess off the map? Don't fight it like King Henry V(I believe he was the one who executed a person who bested him at Chess). There is no fault on this Blu-Ray disc, only in the petty being that cannot yet interpret its monolithic presence.
This is the next leap in civilization. To complain or criticize it would be like these monkeys whining about how the hammer did not come with a motor to automatically sway (ie http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wi...ergreen_Terrace).
I see it be no other option than Kojima- the artist, the philosopher, the genius- to be buried in Arlington National Cemetery alongside the greatest heroes of human history.

| Originally posted by RJT I struggled with it, but that's because I really didn't have a ton of time to play once I adjusted to the controls, and didn't really try a ton of direct combat. I'm somewhat excited to see how sound the rest of the cut scenes, story, and ending play out (though that likely won't happen for quite some time), because the early cut-scenes were quite impressive from a "production values" standpoint (though they did all have some pretty classic, and hilarious, MGS dialog in them), and though the opening scene really felt like it echoed the opening one in the first MGS, it felt like the basic idea for the first act went very naturally from dropping you into the middle of chaos to setting the foundation for the beginning of the story without really telling you all that much early in the game. Definitely a far more gripping opening sequence than the last two (though I have to admit I do have somewhat fond memories of the first half hour of MGS2 - but at the close of that one I was basically left like this: ). |

epic
act 5 , EPIC.
PS i do agree the aimming is alittle shite.
solid snake > all
So apparently good ol' Solid Snake sold (an estimated) 1.3 million copies on his first day on the market alone. Every single one of the MGS4 bundles (in America, at least) sold out completely. Retailers were adament on commenting that if Sony had actually predicted demand to be as high as it was, the bundle would have sold 3X more.

A lot of people give vgchartz shit, so don't think these are finalized numbers. Still, very impressive, and good to hear the PS3 got the big guns it needed.
Ya you can't trust sources that subsitute "s" for "z"

You read everything and twist it in your own little way. My first post was not meant to be twatty at all you just took it that way as is to be expected from you. Either way this is turning into the same shit over and over, oh and what a suprise threads like that always seems to involve you What a crazy coinscidence. |
VGChartz is all completely made up sales numbers, based on anecdote... Wait for an official PR or an NPD release.
Awesome game. Finally got me a PS3 and just beat it today. Despite all the talk of this beings snakes final mission, I am highly doubtful Konami would not continue this franchise in some form or another, whether it be a reboot or another lead character in place of snake or retelling or whatever. There will be more metal gears. Guaranteed
oh one thing that PISSED me off. for the love of christ Cant they just name a specific country/city/region instead of this 'South America', 'Eastern Europe', 'Middle East' business. Just Say IRAQ FFS!! They can name US/Alaska and I think china once or twice, why not any other countries?

Well I beat it last night and i must say epic epic epic games all of them.. This game was simply amazing and the ending gave me goose bumps. Im going to play it again now and this time try to sneak a bit more rather than shoot my way through some levels.
Only gripe the aiming is a bit funny.
